Webcam Stripper Has Fatal Accident Live on the Net

A girl is doing some sort of a striptease on the Net. It is not known who she is doing it for, but she may be an Arab. The dance she is doing looks like an Arab dance, she has an Arabic appearance, and the music in the background sounds Arabic. She gets up from her seat, turns her back to the camera, and begins her dance.

She is dancing with her face to a large cabinet and seems to have the front part of her body pushed up against the cabinet. As she rubs up against the cabinet, she somehow dislodges it, and it collapses on her. The story goes that she was pinned under the cabinet and could not get out, suffocated, and died. However, fortunately, this is not what happened. Not only did she not die, but she also did not get pinned under the cabinet. However, she did almost break her PC as a result of this crazy incident.

Swedish Man Commits Suicide Live on the Internet

This is one Hell of a strange video! This is one of the few videos available of people who have actually committed suicide live on the Internet. Not a lot is known about the victim. This incident occurred very recently, only in the past few weeks, but for some reason, not much has been heard about it. The live suicide occurred on October 13, 2010, only one month ago. The lack of information about the incident is mostly because not much has been written about it in English. Apparently the best write-ups on it were in Swedish.

This is what happened:

A young Swedish man, Marcus Janis, 21, a resident of Soldertaj, south of Stockholm, went to a presumably Swedish language social networking site which has not been named. He set up his video camera, then announced his intention to commit suicide, even listing the various reasons why he was going to do it. Janis lived alone, was lonely, had poor social skills, and suffered from sort of autistic disorder, possibly Aspergers.

Wearing a shirt creepily entitled "Just Do It," he sets up a rope from the ceiling, and then crouches on the floor next to a wall and puts his neck around the rope. Then he pulls on the rope until he dies. The whole thing is over very quickly, only in a few minutes. 100's of users were watching him commit suicide while he was doing it.

The suicide itself is surprisingly banal. The most important even in our lives other than our births is often so banal it is nearly boring. I had never seen someone die before until recently I watched someone die in front of me. I always thought I would be terrified to see such a thing, but when I saw it, it is surprisingly banal, almost boring. I pointed this out to the attended folks and they did not want to hear that.

So it is with this suicide. He puts the rope around his neck, pulls, and quickly his face becomes a very deep red. This is how he dies. There is no struggle or expression as he dies peacefully. After a while, his face changes from deep red to pale white. This means that he is dead. His face is changing to the ghostly paleness of death. The video ends with chaotic footage of police rushing in to the scene, only to find him dead.

Janis published his plans to kill himself on his Facebook site, creepily enough. He also called a friend and told him of his plans. The friend called Janis' sister, who called Janis' home, but there was no answer. They went to the apartment, but they could not get in as the door was locked. The called the authorities, and police came. Emergency services broke down the door and tried to save his life, but their efforts were futile.

Very sad story all around!

I found myself laughing when I first heard about this story, but although I realized I should not be laughing, I kept on laughing anyway. This story is just too absurd. When I read about the father's reaction, I quit laughing.

I admit I am a bit exasperated with folks who keep trying to kill themselves over and over. A part of me lines up with the social worker who got so tired of listening to the guy threatening suicide over the line that he drove over to the guy's house and helped him do it.

That part of me says, "Hell, just kill yourself already."

I've known an attempted suicide, close to me. It was a one-time thing, I heard about it soon after he tried it, and I don't think he will do it again. I think it had to do with some psych drugs he was taking (Xanax in this case). Folks like that surely need to be saved. Those that are constantly attempting suicide, I am not sure.

On that thread, some folks were apparently encouraging him to go ahead and do it. The thread also contains his famous suicide note.

However, there seems to be an earlier thread here, "I'm Trippin on Bars on My Webcam" . Followed by a warning thread to the mods to call the police here: "Mods?!".

If you click on his profile on the site, it takes you to a link saying, "The BodySpace Member you are attempting to locate is inactive." I should say so.

His site on Justin.tv, http://www.justin.tv/feels_like_ecstacy, has been removed, and there is no cached version. I've been on the site before, and it's really strange, but it's also a lot of fun. Mostly young people on there. If you're older, they call you "pedophile" for even showing up on the channel. Age discrimination.

His MySpace page is here. He seems to have lots of luck with the ladies. Judging by that, I can't see the suicidal ideation, but I'm starting to think this stuff is due to chemicals in the brain.

Some folks on the bodybuilding forum were getting tired of him coming there and threatening to kill himself over and over. Guess they won't have to worry about that anymore.

He's wasn't a boy, but he was a teenager. He was 19, and he was Black, with a beautiful White girlfriend and a young son. White nationalists are encouraged to find some obscure racial angle here. I always heard young Blacks had a low suicide rate, but it has been going in recent years, and epidemiologists are shaking their heads trying to figure it out.

He was Abraham K. Biggs (aka Candyman), 19, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, near Miami.

The people who were egging him on are a bunch of idiots. And I think someone should have called the cops, but apparently everyone just thought it was a joke, and he was always threatening anyway. This Dadaist or Kafkaesque charade went on for 10 hours.

Much is made of the fact that he stopped moving at 11 AM and the cops didn't show up til 3:30 PM, by which time he was history, but I'm pretty sure he was already gone by 11.

At one time, there were ~1,500 people watching the feels_like_ecstacy channel. That's the way the site works. You will be on a channel and suddenly it will pile up with visitors for no reason.

Justin.tv is based in San Fransisco. 185 people were viewing the feels_like_ecstacy channel when the cops showed up.
