In the past year, this site has been averaging 150,000 unique visitors a month. So advertising here is the equivalent of buying an ad for a monthly magazine with a circulation of 150,000 readers. It generates 270,000 hits/month on average for the past year. That boils down to millions of hits a year. Last year we got 3.2 million hits.

One issue on the site is that traffic comes from all over the world. Therefore, the best ads on this site that would target the largest number of visitors would be ads for name brand products or products that are sold worldwide, since visitors come from all over the globe. In addition, many visitors probably do not speak English, at least as a first language. Therefore, name brand products or products with websites in multiple languages would work best.
Lately, most traffic comes from the US, Canada, Australia and Europe. There is also a lot of traffic from Latin America, especially South America. Probably 70% of our traffic comes from English-speaking countries.
