Complex Dance: Poles and Jews in World War 2

We have already been over this subject a few times on this blog and there is no need to rehash it forever, but despite all my reading on the subject, I still cannot seem to figure it out.

The problem is that Polish nationalists and anti-Semites are continuing to use Jewish cooperation with the USSR during and after WW2 as a club to beat Jews over the head with and keep the anti-Semitic fight between Jews and Poles going on forever.

Here are a couple of examples of modern anti-Semitic Jewish nationalist stuff along these lines: Neighbours On The Eve Of The Holocaust. Polish-Jewish Relations In Soviet-Occupied Eastern Poland, 1939-1941 from the Canadian Polish nationalist Electronic Museum site and Jews Murdering Poles, Jedwabne and the atrocities in East Poland 1939-1941 (part II) by Prof. Jerzy Robert Nowak.

A slightly similar piece, but much more balanced, comes from an excerpt from a book called Darkness and Hope by Sam Halpern on the Zionist and Jewish religion site aish.com.

These pieces present a picture of Jews kissing the tanks of the invading Soviet troops, collaborating with the Soviets, and assisting the Soviets as they carried out punitive actions, including executions, against those who were supporting a Polish nationalist insurgency against the USSR.

It is important to note that the Nazis killed 90% of the Jews in Poland, and many Poles were all too willing to help the Nazis by pointing out Jews and in any other way they could think of. It's true that many Poles risked their lives to save Jews, but surely an even larger number helped the Nazis kill Jews by collaborating with them.

From an excerpt of an English translation of Leonid Smilovitsky's The Holocaust in Belarus 1941-1944, we see an entirely different picture, in which the nationalist forces of both Poland and Belarus were actively assisting the Nazis in killing as many Jews as possible.

The persecutors of Jews in the Belarus included the AK or Armia Krajowa, the Polish Home Army, the main Polish resistance group. This complements the common wisdom that the AK was basically a rightwing nationalist army (though they fought both the USSR and Nazi Germany) and they were not exactly Jew-friendly.

Polish nationalists had shown strong anti-Semitic feelings before and after the Nazi invasion. Nationalists of all stripes and their supporters, including Polish nationalists, were among those helping to herd the Jews to their deaths. After the Nazis invaded Eastern Poland and the Red Army retreated, most of the local Jewish men of fighting age were pressed into service in the Red Army, but many others just flat out volunteered.

Of course these Jews kissed the Soviet tanks and later volunteered for the Red Army. It's also not surprising that many Jews collaborated after the war with the Communist government. The USSR meant life for Polish Jews. Nazis and to some extent Polish nationalists and their supporters meant possible to sure death.

Smilovitsky's page indicates that East European nationalists of various stripes were running around killing an awful lot of Jews and even collaborating with the Nazis. They were killing plenty of civilians too.

The Jews were collaborating with the Red Army in their own counterinsurgency against the AK, who were fighting the USSR. There was a dirty war on both sides with killings of villagers and other civilians, massacres, burning of villages, expulsions, and on and on. It was a horrible time in a monstrous war with lots of death all around.

To characterize this whole complex period as "Commie pro-Soviet Jews running around murdering innocent Poles" is completely mistaken.

I'm willing to discuss this matter further if anyone has anything intelligent to add to the conversation.

Best Explanation Yet For the Holodomor

First of all, we really ought to note that there was no "Holodomor" as the Ukrainian nationalists and Ukrainian Nazis have it. According to them, there was a man-made famine in the Ukraine in 1932 and 1933 that led to 6 million Ukrainians dying.

The harvest was excellent, but the evil Stalinists confiscated all of the grain to starve the people due to their resistance to collectivization. This is the view that Americans have been fed their entire lives by the controlled US propaganda media (There is no free press of any consequence in the USA).

Most historians now completely reject the notion that the USSR intentionally starved anyone to death in order to punish them for resisting the state's directives. There was a famine in 1933, and it continued for a few years afterward, but it extended over most of the USSR and was not confined to the Ukraine. The government was not happy about the famine and took severe measures to curtail it.

Most died of disease after being weakened by famine, not of starvation itself. Poor decisions were made by the state, but historically, this is often the case during famines. One can argue that the famine was caused by state policies, in particular an effort to jump-start collectivization and do it very rapidly.

A similar effort in China in 1959-1962 also caused a famine and led to 15 million deaths, again, mostly from disease. There seems to be a pattern of too-rapid collectivization of agriculture causing disastrous famines in Communist countries (something similar happened during Pol Pot's reign).

There was also an armed struggle going on, with bands of kulaks taking up arms against party officials, collective farms and farmers, etc. In the course of this armed struggle, the state killed 390,000 people, mostly Ukrainians. If you want to call this mass murder or genocide or whatever, you're entitled to do that, but that's not what the Holodomor crowd is arguing.

Also, there was widespread sabotage in the USSR around this time, mostly in the Ukraine again, whereby those resisting cultivation destroyed 50% of the livestock in the USSR and a good part of the grain crop too.

The reasons for the famine and the story of the famine itself are quite complex and go beyond the scope of this post. For now, this review by Mark Tauger of a recent book by Davies and Wheatcroft perhaps sums up the famine in the USSR during this period to the best of our knowledge. Instead of summarizing this complicated review, I will just link to it and let you go read it yourself.

On a related note, it appears that the Ukrainian Nazis (Holodomor crowd) have taken over an article called "Holodomor Denial" and pretty much ruined it. Most of the people accused of being Holodomor Deniers do acknowledge that there was a famine in the USSR during this period that killed at least 1 million people.

Walter Duranty, the famous New York Times columnist, acknowledged at least 3 million deaths from famine. Douglas Tottle, Mario Sousa and Jeff Conlon, all supposedly Holodomor Deniers according to this outrageously biased article, all agreed that from 1-2 million died of a famine in the USSR during this period.

The reason the Ukrainian Nazis have even come up with the phrase Holodomor Denial is to parrot the Jews' Holocaust Denial. The Holodomor was given that name in the late 1980's by Ukrainian nationalists in Canada, most of whom supported the Nazis and often fought beside them in WW2. Anti-Semitism and Holocaust Denial are rampant amongst these fascist supporters.

Just to show you how wicked Wikipedia is, take a look at the talk page for the article. The talk page was taken over by Ukrainian Nazis, I mean Holodomorists. Check out this entry.

The person who wrote that, Jeff Peters, was subsequently permanently banned from working on Wikipedia merely for opposing the Ukrainian Nazis' Holodomor lies. Here is his talk page with all the dirty details. Looks like he was also a supporter of Hezbollah and the Palestinians and ran afoul of the Wikipedia Jews.

This is par for the course on Wikipedia. Most articles on Communism are seriously ruined by the Wikipedia Cabal. The Cabal, which takes orders from Jimmy Wales himself, is heavily loaded with libertarians who are quite hostile to any kind of socialism or social justice.

Jimmy Wales himself is a wild and extreme libertarian who argued that the federal government should not have lifted one finger to help the Hurricane Katrina victims in any way.

It's amazing that not one single article in the "US free press" about Wikipedia or its corrupt founder has ever mentioned the extreme corruption and intellectual dishonesty at Wikipedia, the propaganda cabals that are allowed to run amok, or even Wales' own extreme political views themselves. A free press in the US? It would be a great idea!

Was there famine? Yes. Was there a Holodomor? No.

The most responsible estimate of deaths due to the famine range from 1.5-6 million over a few years across much of the USSR.

It is interesting that in private correspondence, Robert Conquest, who for decades insisted that the famine was intentional (his view is now the received wisdom on the subject in the West) admitted in private correspondence with Davies and Wheatcroft that the famine was not intentional.

It's truly sad that what is now regarded as settled fact among responsible historians is still regarded as wild, unheard-of propaganda in much of the West. But then we get back to that wonderful American "free press" again, right?

It Was Raining Holodomor Lies

They rained down and down, as far as anyone could see and for as long as anyone could remember. It was a thunderstorm of "Holodomor" lies, and no one knew when they had started. It seemed they would never end.

When you asked around, folks treated the "Holodomor" lies as a normal thing, like the sun, the moon and rain, and about as controversial as any of them. If you questioned their Holy "Holodomor" Lying Grail, they kind of looked at you funny, then they changed the subject. It was 1930's Ukraine in the heart of 2008 America. Everyone knew that Stalin had deliberately starved 6 million Ukrainians to death.

They had all seen the faked pictures of the starving frog boy, the corpses on the street, and all of the other lie pics taken from the Russian Civil War famine of 1921 and glommed by Nazi William Heart onto 1933 Ukraine.

I went to my blog and it was raining "Holodomor" lies again. I knew there was no escape as long as Nazi-symps kept coming to the blog:

Joseph Stalin, the leader of Russia, ordered operatives to remove all the stores of food from farming towns in the Ukraine. Millions of people had no bread--they ate field mice, insects, husks, and dead children. It was 1933.

A Russian-born American couple visited a Ukrainian village. 'We are all dying of starvation,' a villager told them. 'They want us to die. It is an organized famine. There never has been a better harvest, but if we were caught cutting a few ears of corn we would be shot or put in prison and starved to death.' It was August 1933."

I couldn't answer it and it made me uneasy, so I fired off an email to James Slavyanski in Moscow and just as quick he fired back with his pinball brain and his flying keyboard fingertips:

The source is worthless, plain and simple. First it is factually incorrect. Josef Stalin didn't order any of that. The state had procurement quotas every year. 1931 was a bad harvest, but this did not become apparent until a crisis had begun.

Once this had happened, the government instituted rationing, diverted tons of supplies to the Ukraine and other affected areas, cut exports, lowered the procurement quotas to their lowest level in the entire decade, and in some cases returned procured grain back to the collectives.

All of these things are confirmed by formerly secret archival documents, brought to light mainly by Dr. Mark Tauger: Tauger also compares some other famines which occurred under the British and French colonial governments, and had more obvious human factors, yet somehow today nobody accuses either government of genocide.

As for the other aspect of this claim, we have unidentified witnesses talking to an unidentified peasant in an unidentified village somewhere in Ukraine.

By contrast, George Bernard Shaw (and several other identified people) traveled through Ukraine during that time, saw no starvation, and thus are accused today of being "useful idiots" or having been tricked by "Potemkin villages" (documents relating to this alleged propaganda campaign, which would have concealed mass starvation from a passerby, have yet to be found thus far).

Honestly, if we are talking about things like rules of evidence and historical methodology, the anonymous quote is simply laughable. Note that the peasant, supposedly living in this terror-stricken, brainwashed propaganda-laden society, tells the unidentified couple precisely what the author wants us to know.

Notice also that while people like George Bernard Shaw were supposedly sheltered from this starvation and misery, this Russian-American couple just goes into any village in Soviet Ukraine as they please, and a simple peasant happens to see through all the alleged propaganda and tell them there is an "organized famine".

Sure reminds me of that time that an Arab American couple went to Fallujah and an Iraqi told them that American soldiers are systematically killing off all males in the city from 12-30. In other words, this kind of technique allows one to pull claims out of their own ass. I am not even sure if this can be considered hearsay, as we have no evidence that either party even existed.

In conclusion, the man-made famine side has had roughly 18 years to produce some kind of document showing a plan to systematically starve people. Documents of this kind have been found in Nazi archives, that is documents relating to a systematic plan to kill Jews (i.e. Einsatzgruppen reports, Max Taubner verdict, etc), and plans to starve people, as found in documents relating to Generalplan Ost.

No such documents have been produced. Likewise Ukrainian Famine supporters ought to try to explain all the documented aid that was given to Ukraine in terms of fertilizer, tractors, seed, and cattle, during that time. They cannot explain why the quotas were cut back so drastically.

I might also add that these Ukrainian nationalists and their fellow travellers also can't explain why since 1991, as many as 500,000 girls have been trafficked into sexual slavery from Ukraine, due mainly to huge unemployment among women, while at the same time Ukrainian "leaders" are running around trying to get the world to call a famine an act of genocide, and when they are not doing that, trying to join NATO so as to increase military spending at the expense of social programs.

I like this guy. He's smart as a whip and has a mind like an encyclopedia.

It's true that Westerners traveled freely around the Ukraine during this period and did not see any obvious signs of mass starvation, although one observer did see an obviously malnourished boy standing in line outside a medical clinic with his mother. He had fallen ill to one of the diseases sweeping the area - namely cholera and dysentery and was waiting to be served by doctors (!).

There was a famine, not just in Ukraine, but actually all over Russia. There were even famine and famine-related disease deaths in the cities, including Moscow. It was a terrible time, and there is general agreement that 1.5 million died (I believe that the West also refused to supply any food to the USSR at this time).

At this point, the burden of proof is on the "Holodomor" crowd to put up or shut up. Come up with some evidence for your charges or be quiet. At this point, he's pretty much the gold standard.

I am really getting tired of endlessly answering these questions to people who are not familiar with the literature. Note: I am not insulting those of you who have not heard of the revisionist studies, as the revisionist tolls on Stalin have never been disseminated by the "free press" (LOL!) in the West, so of course no one has heard of any of this stuff.

Peacetime figures for political deaths in the USSR 1921-1953 are:

Executions:             900,000
Deaths in the gulag:    300,000
Dekulakization Ukraine: 390,000

Totals:                 1.59 million

Granted this does not include their fake deliberate famine (1.5 million) or the deaths during WW2. It's open to debate whether to include such things or not.

The source is J. Arch Getty and various Russian scholars. The KGB archives were opened up by Gorbachev in 1990 and the millions of pages were pored over by scholars from the world over. The killers wrote down everything. Google J. Arch Getty for more.

The debate has continued to be conducted in academic journals since then, and the Conquest liars have stuck to their guns. The debate gets complicated, and I am not privy to all the details. Bottom line is that Conquest is saying that Commies lie all the time, so why should we believe the KGB archives, since obviously the KGB lied in their own archives.

Feel free to dip into it if you wish. I gave up after a bit and am just siding with Getty and rest. It may be some time before this is all sorted out. There are clearly some overheated emotions, at least on one side anyway.

The figures do not include:

Totals:                    2.8 million 

Even if you include those deaths, the figure only goes to 4.4 million. That's a far cry from 20-110 million.

So many people have been fed the Conquest fertilizer for so many years that they can't help but believe it, and they refuse to believe that the US government and the World Press lied to them for so many decades. People don't like to hear that they got lied to.

Holodomor Revisionism

There was famine in the Ukraine in the early 1930's, but no Holodomor.

The Holodomor was the deliberate famine that never happened, the lie the Nazi Randolf Hearst made up with his Nazi buddies in Hitler's regime to add up to 6 million and why?

Because 6 million = 6 million = they cancel each other out.

Get it? No? Well, read on and you should be able to, and boy is it evil! Whew! What a stinky argument! Spells like burning flesh and gas, yuck!

It was time for Lindsay to do the Holodomor troll, a particularly evil troll because the denial of the 6 million fake figure causes one to be compared to a Holocaust revisionist, but that was all part of the elaborate Nazi lie plan the CIA and US yellow journalism and the Solzhenitsyn Fascist Man cooked up.

Because, with 6 million Jews deliberately murdered, the virulent anti-Semite Nazis and Ukrainian nationalists needed 6 million Ukrainians deliberately killed too, except most Ukrainian nationalists were Holocaust deniers, so forget about the 6 million Jews! They, like, never even happened, dude!

Most of the Holodomor-peddlers even fought alongside Nazis too. So, Jews never got killed, except when the Ukrainian Nazis were killing them, which sure was fun, but it never happened. Haha! Isn't Holocaust revisionism fun? With this Holocaust revisionism bullshit, we can maybe even try to kill the Jews all over again! Woohoo! But shh, don't tell anyone, ok? Just our secret. Wink, wink.

Jews bad, Ukrainians good. Soviets bad, Nazis good. Ukrainian nationalists are fine and wonderful people, who got deliberately starved by evil Stalin and even more evil Jews just for being Christians!

In the real world that no one believes in, 110 million Russian peasants faced off against 12 million kulaks in a class war across the USSR in the early 1930's. The Ukrainian kulaks tried to starve all of Russia! 110 million peasants in all! Boo, hiss bad!

And there was a famine, where 1.5 million or possibly more died, mostly because kulaks burned most of the grain and killed half the animals in the country. But 1.5 million future Nazis dead is horrible! 110 million dead Commie peasants would have been so much better!

There was no deliberate famine.

Hence, there was no Holodomor.

The party was shipping food the whole time, but rations got awful short. Almost all of the deaths were due to disease epidemics, especially cholera, and visitors to the area would be surprised to see even one obviously malnourished kid.

You see, 6 million real Ukrainian Christians were killed by evil Jew Communists and 6 million fake Jews then were or were not killed (in response?) by some justifiably pissed off Christians, and Shitler beats Stalin any day of the week. Shitler's the good guy and Stalin's the bad guy. Got it? Fun game, huh? Like it? Thank the CIA!

See how CIA propaganda works? It's making you pro-Nazi already as you read this, isn't it?

400,000 kulaks died in the Ukraine (3% of kulaks) in the early 30's, but most of them took up arms against the state and killed innocent people. These were the maniacs who were trying to starve the whole USSR.

Well, the rightwing says they were innocent, but then so were the Al Qaedas who took up arms against the US state and flew planes into buildings too, right? I mean, killing civilians Contra-style is killing civilians with airplanes, right? Al Qaeda blows up office workers and kulak-contras kill workers on collective farms.

At least Al Qaeda didn't destroy 50% of the livestock and most of the grain in the US in an attempt to starve America to death. And what if millions of Al Qaeda had run across the US and done precisely that? Then what would you all say to the motherfucking terrorists who just tried to starve your American ass to death? That they were freedom fighters? But that's what you just said about your kulak-heroes.

Oh, they were innocent, our kulak-heroes! They were just "White Christians", the anti-Semites wail and wail, and evil Commie Jews killed 'em by the 6 millions or 13 millions or 20 millions just to do the Jesus thing writ endlessly over millions of Christians, because one dead Christian on a cross is never enough for the bloodthirsty Jew. Right?

See how this Holodomor game works? Fun, huh? You too can play; you can push Nazi propaganda all day and all night, and no one will ever call you on it. Neat.

Holodomor. 6 million Christians deliberately starved. Stalin deliberately starved tens of millions of peasants just for being peasants. Evil Jews killed 20 million Christians to kill Jesus 20 million times just for the Jew-fun of it.

The lie train was so long you could no longer see the beginning or the end anymore, all you could see was the endlessly snaking middle, shedding lie spores to millions of the gullible all over the West for decades.

The lies went on and on and never ended.

Chairman Mao Revisionism

All Westerners agree that Mao was even worse than Stalin, so it was time to do a particularly evil and hateful troll, the pro-Chairman Mao troll.

Mao never starved 23-35 million or whatever to death during the Great Leap Forward, though there were 15 million dead through overprocurement and mass stupidity. The 23-35 million figures are derived by Western scholars by outrageously adding in the "deaths" of people who never even got born in the first place!

Yes, during the GLF, many women were malnourished and did not give birth, and this effect lasted for a few years even after the famine. A decline in the birth rate due to eggs and sperms not participating in fertilization is incredibly called murder!

At the same time, there was a wildly declining death rate every year before the GLF, and then a few years after, the death rate started drastically plummeting once again, so all that happened in the GLF was a wildly declining death rate went up (in one year quite a bit) for a few years, then began plummeting again.

It is also said that during the GLF, Mao heard about the famine deaths and refused to do anything about them. I do not know enough about the episode to take a position on that one way or another. Clearly, there was a serious lack of democracy within the party, and this led to the problems.

The GLF disaster happened like this: First there was the China-Soviet split, which was actually a pretty stupid development, and was evidence of Mao's excessive radicalism. Problems were based on Khrushchev's notion of peaceful cooperation with the non-Communist world versus Mao's idea that the non-Communist world was an enemy that had to be confronted.

As a result of this stupidity on Mao's part, the USSR left China, taking all of their advisors and aid with them. The advisors and aid had been essential in building up China from 1949-1958, and now all of this was crashing to a halt. Now China would have to build herself up all by herself with no help from anyone.

As Stalin did in the 1930's, Mao decided to industrialize the Chinese state on the backs of the peasants. There is no other way. You have to feed all those urban workers somehow or other. Mao set wildly unrealistic demands for the rural harvests, and the local party leaders bought into the nonsense. There were natural disasters, yet the local leaders reported harvests vastly in excess of what actually occurred. Hence, there was vast overprovisioning and famine resulted in the countryside.

There are some problems with the 15 million figure, but that is the figure that the Chinese census came up with. Most of the deaths were due to disease.

Travelers in China, even to the worst-hit regions, did not report any obvious signs of famine, however, they did report that rations were very tight. Interviews with Chinese later indicate that there was a famine in China during this period, even in the cities, that people were reduced to eating grass in the fields, and that people did indeed die, mostly of disease.

The anti-Mao types claim that Mao knew about the starvation but said basically, the Hell with them, let them starve. I do not know enough about the situation to comment on this, but due to the lack of democracy in the party, apparently there were delays in telling the top leadership what was really going on in the countryside, and instead they were told what they wanted to hear.

The West looks at this most complex series of events and sees only mass murder, but what do you see? 140 million minimum have been killed in India alone as a consequence of not following the Chinese model in 1949, and 4 million more die every single year, and no one even says a peep but Lindsay the evil Commie mass murder lover.

Chairman Mao broke Stalin's record of doubling life expectancy in the shortest period of time, from 32 in 1949 (which the US loved) to 65 in 1976, a mere 27 year period, whereas Stalin took 40 years. And this, the greatest humanitarian achievement of all time, was done by the worst murderer of all time, Chairman Mao.

It was 1949-1953 and 700,000 landlords were being tried all of China. They were dirty, horrible and awful criminals almost all guilty of theft, rape, extortion and murder.

They raped the girls and women and killed the men and the peasant was dead at 32, his life hovering between life and death the whole way, but the West just loved it that way, and the kind folks that enforced this evil went to Taiwan and swore to reinstall the system that always killed way more than Mao, to the terror of the Chinese people, who rallied around the man who saved their lives, Mao.

The people put the despicable criminals on trial, and the people killed the warlord mass murderers themselves. It was Chmielnicki and Desallines and Nat Turner all over again. The party was supposed to intervene but they never did, and for this they are now condemned. Even then, Mao rued the excesses while he praised the notion of revolutionary terror.

The GPCR (Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution) came for 10 years and went and many great and wonderful things happened along with many horrible and insane things, and it was all mixed up. The UN said the Barefoot Doctor Campaign during the GPCR was one of the greatest public health campaigns ever undertaken.

The Western liars now say that 30 million people were killed during the GPCR! Unbelievable!

There were 1 million excess deaths in the GPCR, but it was also a time of wildly exploding life expectancy and a rapid decline in the death rate, so it was all mixed up. Most of the deaths were said to be suicides as people were nearly hounded to their deaths. I guess it's better than a bullet in the head. There were also about 29,000 executed during the GPCR.

Keep in mind that during the GPCR China saw increases in life expectancy that were the greatest such achievements that mankind has ever achieved.

A new book by a fellow named Jung Chiang has stated that Mao killed 80 million people! Wow! How did he manage that? And at the same time, produce the quickest doubling of life expectancy in a nation in the history of mankind.

You don't set records of doubling life expectancy by killing tens of millions of people. Forget it. This book has been panned by just about every single China scholar alive, but it's still being quoted reverentially by the West.

No one knows how many Mao killed. Forgetting about the Leap, because there were no intentional deaths there, there were 1.7 million excess deaths in which the regime either persecuted people into taking their own lives or the regime actually executed people.

No one knows about any deaths beyond the 1.7 million. Surely there were executions from 1953-1965, but no one knows how many. There was a Gulag system from 1949-1976, and surely folks died there, but no one knows how many. Obviously the true number of deaths is over 1.7 million, but until the CCP opens its archives, we will never know the true numbers. The CCP has never opened its archives, and God knows if they ever will.

Sovietologist Fakes and 1900's Peasant Rebellions

I'm being attacked by a whole bunch of intellectuals on some list for supposedly defending Communism's horrible death toll, specifically those of Mao and Stalin, though actually I was not doing anything of the kind, but you know how idiots are when it comes to evil Communism and all.

It all boils down to who was worse, Stalin-Mao Mass Murderer of All Time or Hitler Most Evil Killer and Maniac. Of course, rightwingers being the truly horrible people that they always are, always try to defend Hitler! Boo! Hiss! Evil! Sucks!

As an Old Left type, these guys tried to kill everyone of us on the planet. No way am I making alliances with people who want me dead.

The Left mostly refuses to defend Commies, but instead says that Shitler was way more evil, and Lindsay, the man who has no regard for human life, who issues calls for murder on a regular basis against unknown major imperialist figures and executors, is guilty of soliciting murder.

It's murder, murder, murder and more murder. All the murder, all the time. It's the Murder Channel and it's who killed more, your guy or Not-ours?

Peru created Sendero, Cambodia created Pol Pot, 17th century Poland created the Chmielniki Rebellion and 1/3 of Poland was dead. In 1804, Desallines led an island of slaves in righteous rebellion, and every Frenchperson on the speck of land in the Sea was dead, even the kids, even the crazy woman ranting on the bridge set upon by the mob and lynched on the spot.
