The War Project Versus the Nice Project

The War Project is interfering with the Nice Project. Here I am, sitting and practicing being nice while no one is around in the middle of the night, and memories of war shake in my bones.

Upstairs, it's the War Channel. It's on most nights. Screaming and yelling bloody murder. Hate and rage, crashing and smashing, mad screams of insane people. This is normal. The War is normal.

There's an Hispanic couple upstairs who are at war. There may be others at war too. I think people are on drugs. I hope no one is armed. I hear them screaming and yelling bloody murder at each other, crashing and burning across the room, like a herd of antelope on an African plain. The cops got called. A couple of times.

Inquiries are met with smiles. There are no blows exchanged, the woman is a fighter, everything is fine. Don't believe it. When people scream like that, fists and objects fly. They are trying to kill each other. Nothing will happen until some day, someone may end up dead. This is how these things tend to end.

Next to them, upstairs, are Black people. A young Black woman and her huge Black boyfriend are trying to kill each other, or at least trying to beat each other up.

It was on earlier tonite, the Fights. You can turn on the Fights here just about any nite. Just open your ears.

The war went on on the sidewalk before, earlier in the night, but I looked outside and could not see. Only voices, I heard, disembodied voices. Fighting, fighting, yelling and fighting.

The war went on outside, earlier in the evening. The police pulled up outside my window, three cars, stayed there half and hour, talking to some young Hispanic men. I opened the window and watched the friendly people in blue.

The news just came in, two local kids locked up, the War goes on, two soldiers off the streets. You cheer for the blue men who take away 16 year old POW's. Where? Anywhere but here. Anywhere.

The gangster rap pounds away a good part of the day, from computers and radios. It's not exactly a message of peace and love. It's a message of hate, rage and crime, sociopathy packaged as art. It gets into your bones if you're not careful, your inner psychopath emerging in your tensing veins.

You shut all the windows and tell everyone not to look outside. The world out there and the world in here, and never the twain shall meet, or at least not tonight.

Dammit, I'm trying to be nice.

How can anyone be nice in a place like this?

This is quite a video!

The video shows police who have a man in custody in a police station. The man looks Hispanic. He is not handcuffed. He has a slumped, "I don't give a damn" look as he slouches in his chair. The police are moving in and out of the room, saying a few things here and there. The man says nothing.

An officer brings him a cup of coffee and a bottle of water, and then leaves the room. The man removes the cap from the bottle of water and takes two quick gulps. He puts the bottle down and leans his head back against the wall.

Then he reaches into his pants, pulls out a large .45 caliber handgun and shoots himself in the forehead! He slumps over and blood begins pouring out of his head. The cops hear the shot and run to the scene. "Oh fuck!" says one cop.

The incident happened in late December 2004 in San Bernardino County, Southern California, USA. The man who committed suicide was a Guatemalan illegal immigrant named Ricardo Alfonso Cerna, 47, of San Bernardino. Earlier, a San Bernardino County sheriff's deputy named Mike Parnham, 31, had encountered Cerna at the intersection of California and Adams streets in Muscoy, northwest of San Bernardino.

Parnham had tried to pull Cerna's white Nissan over. Cerna refused to pull over, and a 1-minute chase ensued that ended when Cerna jumped a curb and came to a stop. Cerna then leaped out of the car with a gun, shooting at Parnham's patrol car. He hit the windshield, then the hood and kept firing as he ran past Cerna on the driver's side of the vehicle.

Parnham was hit two times, once in his bulletproof vest and once in the abdomen. The shot to the abdomen seriously injured him and left him in critical but stable condition at a local hospital. Cerna ran into a local yard where police found him, ordered him to the ground and handcuffed him.

For some reason, possibly due to three different agencies being involved, no one searched him, and he took the gun with himself to the police station, where he used it to commit suicide.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund is Racist!

Surely there are many legal Hispanic immigrants and Hispanic citizens who come from modest means, yet show great promise as potential university students. An organization like this helps poor, bright students to achieve their dreams and be an asset to society in spite of our criminally expensive post-secondary system.

Screw the Dream Act

Blog dedicated to illegal immigrants currently ripping off the broke state of California by going to our universities without paying the foreign student fees that everyone else has to pay.

California really is that stupid.

If you're an honest foreigner and admit you are a legal immigrant to the US, you have to pay out of state or foreign student fees to go to university here in the US. If you come from another state of the US, you need to pay out of state fees.

If you lie and invade my country like a criminal, sneaking in here in violation of our laws, you get the royal carpet treatment. You don't have to pay out of state fees, and you don't have to pay foreign student fees either.

Hell, why not just waive the fees altogether? Let all the illegals go to school for free, and make the real Americans and the legal immigrants pay through the nose. That's about where this lunatic state of ours is headed. California is writing the book on insane with all this illegal alien coddling.

The folks who run this blog are apparently illegal immigrants at UCLA. They are obviously highly intelligent, and they probably behave quite well. They'd probably be an asset to society, except they broke all the damn rules and cheated to get in. That's not fair to everyone who did it right.

It's dedicated to their misnamed Dream Act, which I hope is never passed. And yeah, it is amnesty, by the way.

If they only wanted to pass the Dream Act, it might be tolerable. But they want to legalize all the illegals, and that would be a complete catastrophe. A poster here notes that illegals are now being forced to turn into con artists to sneak in here. Wow. I thought the whole idea of being an illegal in the first place was a gigantic con, with US society as the butt of the joke.

I'd really like to know the whole agenda here. OK, we legalize 12-20 million illegals, and insure that another 40 million chain migrants are coming in later. After a disaster like that, what do you do for an encore?

Ok, so now what? Secure the border? What's to stop more illegals from pouring in? I have a sneaking suspicion that almost all of these illegal alien activists really support Open Borders. Prove to me that they don't.

I supported the Dream Act until 1½ years ago when I moved to a city totally overrun by Mesoamerican illegal immigrants. Now I oppose it with every fiber in my body. I will say that if this town was full of folks like the undergrads running that blog, I'm not sure if I care. Those undergrads are not typical illegals, and that's the whole problem.

It shouldn't be real difficult for them to head back to Mexico and enroll in a university there. If you ask me, Mexican universities are actually more demanding than American ones, at least at the BA level. I think Mexican universities are even free. What's stopping you all?

Great Article on Illegal Immigration

Here, by the fine writer Heather MacDonald. The Sanctuary City laws (list of Sanctuary Cities ) issue is admittedly complex, and many police chiefs do support them.

The idea is that cops want illegals to cooperate as crime victims and witnesses to crimes. But my observation is that illegals don't cooperate even if they are crime victims. I watched one car full of illegals hit a van with a couple of illegals in it in town recently. I asked the people who got hit if they wanted to go to the cops, but they turned around, got back in their vehicle and drove away.

It's well known that the local gangbangers around here prey on drunken illegals, who are often wandering around at 3 AM with pockets full of cash. It's called "rolling drunks." The victim never goes to the cops.

It seems like 50% of this stupid city of 50,000 people are illegal aliens and their awful children. If in general they acted like Danes or Japanese, I honestly don't think people would care that much. They don't, and that's part of the whole problem.

We could easily modify Sanctuary City policies to say that cops may not ask witnesses and crime victims of their immigration status.

Heather MacDonald offers some commonsense solutions to the admittedly difficult quandary of whether or not cops should get involved with immigration law - local cops should be able to arrest known criminals who have been deported and are back in the US - that's a felony anyway.

I was stunned that many cities don't even try to figure out if the criminals they arrest are illegals. At the very minimum, police ought to check immigration status of everyone they arrest. They sure do here in this town. A check of the county jail site reveals a vast number of criminals who are remanded to the INS.

I think the ethnic lobbies need to be called out as traitors. The Hispanic Lobby is a treasonous lobby with far worse dual loyalty issues than the Jews. At least Jews don't form street gangs that lay waste to hundreds of square miles of cities, and they're generally pleasant, intelligent and civilized in person.

The truth is that an overwhelming number of recent immigrants from Mexico in the past 20 years (Almost all recent immigrants from Mexico are illegal aliens - 85% of those who immigrated from Mexico in the past 18 years are illegals) are loyal first to Mexico and then, if at all, to the US. That's not acceptable.

Probably very large numbers of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans think that the Southwest belongs to Mexico, and they have a right to walk across the border the same way they can walk across the border from Oaxaca to Michoacan. Fact is, they don't think that border has a right to exist.

That's a completely unacceptable and downright treasonous attitude, and it ought to be condemned by patriots every time it rears its head.

The entire Hispanic Lobby in the US is basically a Treason Lobby which is loyal to a foreign state and disloyal to America.

Furthermore, the Hispanic Lobby and their moron allies on the Left really do advocate something resembling Open Borders. Once you sit down and talk to them, it quickly becomes apparent that they think anyone ought to have a right to walk across the Mexican border into the US no questions asked. And right away, they should have the right to ask to be legalized, and that right should be granted.

That's completely insane. Not only is there a terrorist question involved, but Mexico is screaming with a mad Drug War that is starting to look like Iraq. Sooner or later, this insanity is coming to the US. Open Borders would only hasten the day.

People seem so puzzled about why I am so militant on this issue. Let me tell you, only three years ago I supported full amnesty for all 12-20 million illegals in the US. Why? I didn't live with them. I heard stories from my friends about how illegals had laid waste to whole vast urban areas in my state, but I shrugged my shoulders. Like Black crime, it didn't effect me.

Moving to a Valley city that feels it's it's about 50% illegals tipped me over into near-psychosis on this issue real fast. It's kind of the liberal-until-mugging story.

One more thing whenever anyone tells you how wonderful illegal aliens are. Just remember:

*It's a little-known fact, but several of the 9-11 terrorists were illegal aliens - VISA overstayers. We really need to publicize this issue more - Illegal Aliens Did 9-11 is one kickass slogan.

The Children of Low Wage Immigrants are Criminals

The male children, at least.

This has been true at least in the past 150 years or so. We went through Hell for decades already with the Sicilians, the Irish and the Jews. After some time, they've all comfortably made it to middle class America and beyond. The Irish, Jewish and Sicilian ghettos of yore are nowhere to be found.

We are seeing it again with Hispanic illegal immigrants from Mesoamerica and the Dominican Republic and with unscreened immigrants from US colonies in Puerto Rico and Western Samoa. The first generation of illegal or unscreened immigrants produces criminal children, which then produces a criminal culture.

In some cases, it ends right there and the newer generations assimilate well. In other cases, as with the White ethnics above, you end up with decades of Underclass Hell before they finally climb aboard. In other cases, the criminal children of the first generation may produce a permanent Underclass. Look at the Gypsies in Europe. They've been there since 1100. They're still as Underclass as the day they showed up.

White racists hate to hear this, but legal immigrants to the US seem to cause relatively few problems.

We screen them very well, it takes years to even get in in the first place, they have to jump through endless hurdles and pay lots of money, and once they get in, they have to be on good behavior, or the first arrest and they get tossed back to wherever. In general, I think their children do well too.

What it boils down to is that the overwhelming majority of immigrant problems in the US are caused by illegal and unscreened and to a lesser extent, low-wage immigrants and their multiple lines of descendants.

This also seems to be the case in Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

The importation of Pacific Islander low wage immigrants to Australia and New Zealand has been bad news. Many are not fitting in at all and are just forming Underclasses, which at this point seem interminable. Pacific Islander immigration to these lands must be stopped altogether or urgent research must be done to figure out which PI's are most likely to thrive and only allow those in.

Importation of low-wage Arab, North African, Jamaican and Pakistani immigrants to Europe has been disastrous. In large part this is due to Islam, except for the Jamaicans, but the end result is the same. Due to Islam, one wonders not when assimilation to European society will occur with these immigrants but whether it is even possible.

The reproduction of the gang - barrio - vato idiot Underclass among US Hispanics is urgently in need of study. Studies are concluding that this pathological culture is now going on five generations here in the US.

What's causing this? What are the factors behind it? What are the characteristics of Hispanics in the Underclass and those assimilating? Forget ending it; it's probably permanent. How do we keep it from growing, and how do we quit importing more nightmares?

As I have mentioned before, US Hispanics are split into two vast groups - an assimilated group doing well and a nightmarish Underclass, with a lot of movement in between.

We grew up with Hispanics in Orange County in the 1960's, 70's and 80's. The ones we knew were all completely assimilated to US culture and were for all intents and purposes just Americans like anyone else. They were like White people with some interesting ancestry.

As a native Californian, I recognize that Hispanics are part of the neighborhood here in my state. Many of them have just as much or more right to be here as the rest of us. I grew up with them, befriended them and had Mexican girlfriends. I was taking Spanish lessons at age 6. I asked my Mom why and she peered into her crystal ball and said, "This is the future." I'm not kidding, exact words.

For fun, we slummed it up in Mexico on a regular basis, but we were always happy to make to the other side of the border at the end. I had six years of Spanish in school. I've eaten great Mexican food my whole life. Hell, I even go to a Catholic Mass now, and I go to the Spanish language session, because the music is better and the crowd is more relaxed.

The Mexican-American friends I grew up with absolutely despised the nascent barrio - vato - gangster culture at the time. There was some of it in the 1970's - mostly in East LA. My friends were blistering in their contempt for these people, who they called garbage, maggots and other endearing terms. They had nothing to do with them, would not even talk to them, and hated being associated with them.

What's odd now is the metasticization of this shit barrio - vato - gangster Hispanic culture all across California. What was once a pretty minor element in Hispanic life in California in the 1970's (at the time most Hispanics here seemed well-assimilated like the ones I knew) has burgeoned across the state like a rampaging cancer.

And my assimilated Hispanic friends, who once regarded the barrio crowd as worms (Rightly so!) now defend them to me in conversation. Sadly, my once-perfectly assimilated Hispanic friends have now adopted Hispanic Identity Politics like everyone else.

Given what we now know about the children of low-wage immigrants becoming criminals, often multi-generational, in more advanced societies, the obvious, sane, bipartisan, non-racist solution is to simply stop importing low-wage immigrants period. If we do need to import them, we can always import some real guest workers like via the Bracero Program.

The Hispanic activists (illegal alien lovers) get all upset when anyone mentions the Bracero Program. Apparently the workers were treated like shit back in the day, in the 1950's. Well, here it is, 2008, and what do you know, illegal alien workers are often treated like shit too.

The more things change, the more things stay the same. That's not a problem with guest worker programs. The problem is that it's the American way to treat workers like shit.

Anyway, whatever it's faults, a Bracero Program 2008 would seem better than the current nightmare of turning the US Southwest into Northern Tijuana.

A commenter, James Schipper, noted on an earlier post that illegal immigrants who have been in the US for 10 years or so have shown significant duty to country such that they can be amnestied in. This was my position up until 1½ years ago. As long as I always lived in White areas in California, I could afford to be liberal on immigration.

Now that I live the barrio, I've lost all my illusions. Getting hit on the head with the reality stick can be a tough beating. I want all the illegals gone, not now, yesterday, and I don't give a damn how long they've been here, I don't care about breaking up their damned families, I don't care about anything.

I would also like to point out that the very qualities that make low-wage immigrants, in particular illegal immigrants, such problem immigrants in Western nations will not magically vanish as soon as you grant them amnesty.

My impression is that the children of the illegals who were amnestied in in 1986 are just as bad, if not worse, than the children of the illegals themselves. Legalizing them via amnesty does not magically transform low-quality illegal immigrants in fine, upstanding citizens. I doubt it if does much good at all except to legalize more problem residents of our nation.

I Feel Like Punching Them In the Face

...Every time some Goddamned Mexican "American"* tells me, "We're taking this state back."

Yeah, they say it. A lot.

I think real Americans, not "Americans", or AINO's (Americans in name only) ought to start talking back to these traitorous shits.

Usually, here in California, when a Mexican "American" says this, and they do fairly often, real Americans don't say much in return. We just kind of look at the ground and shuffle our feet. Because if you argue back against them, the Mexican "Americans" will tend to get violent. It's high time we real Americans fought back against these treasonous punks and let them know that their traitor sentiment is most unwelcome.

Mexican "Americans" have told me the following:

We have no allegiance to this country; our allegiance is to Mexico.
We hate this country; we love Mexico.
We are not Americans; we are Mexicans.

Your average piece of shit who says something like this was actually born in the United States. Usually, but not always, they are the nightmare children of the tidal wave of Mesoamerican immigrants that have inundated my state in the past two decades.

The usual White nationalist line is that all Mexican immigrants and Mexican Americans are traitors allied to a foreign land. I don't believe that. Some are, some aren't. Shouldn't we do some research to find out which ones are patriots and which are allied to a foreign power?

I once met a Jew from the Ukraine. I didn't really know his nationality when I first met him. I just knew he was from the Ukraine.

I asked him if he were Ukrainian or Russian, since there are plenty of Russians in the Ukraine. He responded belligerently, "Neither! I'm Jew!" I felt like slapping his face right on the spot. Obviously, he had utter contempt for his native land. He wouldn't even admit to being a citizen. Hell of an attitude. No wonder there are so many anti-Semites in that part of the world.**


*You really don't hear this stuff too often, but you do hear it once in a while. How many Mexican-Americans actually believe this traitorous crap? Who knows? It's a worthy subject of research for any intrepid sociologist out there. There are Mexican "Americans" and Mexican Americans, traitors and patriots. **I'm not attempting to cast any aspersions on Jews in general, or in particular the Jews of the US. How many Jews in the US are as openly treasonous as that Russian Jew above? Not too many. The Russian Jews have been some the worst Jews on Earth for a very long time. The Russians hate them and they hate the Russians. The sheer hatred that the Russian Jews have for the native land is often quite evident.

I'd like to point out that many Israeli Jews are quite hostile toward the Russian Jews in Israel and even in the US, Russian Jews have angered a lot of US Jews.

My attitude is that if you hate your native land so much (seeing it as the enemy) and are much more loyal to some foreign country over your homeland, and you see your own people as a hostile entity towards your own homeland, then why don't you just fucking leave?

If these Mexican love Mexico so much and hate the US so much, go to Mexico. If these Russian Jews hate Russia so much, why don't they just pack up and move to Israel already?

One of the most politically correct countries in the world is Sweden. How many Jews are there in Sweden? The Netherlands also used to be very PC, but its Jewish minority is not even 0.5% of population. As you said, it is to easy to blame PC on Jews. It makes Gentiles look like innocent children that can be manipulated at will by the Chosen Ones.

I don't think that we should confuse ethnocentricity with racism. An ethnic group is not a race. An ethnic group can be composed of several races and a race can be divided into many ethnic groups. The Brazilians are an ethnic group, but they aren't one race.

Europeans in 1950 were for practical purposes all white, but they were divided in numerous ethnic groups. Nobody in the British Isles, for instance, said: "We are all one ethnic group because we are all white. The French across the Channel are white too, so they are also part of our ethnic group."

It is only in the Americas and the colonies that Whites started to think racially and to confuse race and ethnicity. Remember, if two groups are racially different, they are usually also ethnically different.If that is the case, the ethnic rivalry will also acquire a racial coloration. If the French were black, the ethnic rivalry between the English and French would also have acquired a racial dimension, even though it is ethnic at bottom.

It is inevitable that human beings will be ethnocentric to some extent, but it is not inevitable that this ethnocentricity will be expressed racially. If multiracial countries want to acquire cohesion, they should practice racially inclusive ethnocentricity.

This is also why race-based rights such as affirmative action should be abolished. They undermine ethnic unity and promote racial solidarity instead of multiracial ethnic solidarity. Down with race and up with ethnicity.

He makes some very interesting comments. Growing up in California in the 1960's and 1970's, no one of us ever thought of ourselves as White. We more or less assimilated to a California culture, which, as I think back on it now, was largely a White culture. But I never realized it at the time.

White culture was married with California or American culture to the point where one scarcely knew where one ended and the other began. No one even thought of themselves as White, and we had many friends who were non-Whites. I even dated non-Whites, in particular American Indians and Hispanics.

The American Indians, NE Asians, Filipinos, Hispanics and Puerto Ricans were for all intents and purposes "White" because they didn't really behave any differently from anyone else, mostly because they were not recent immigrants and were very well assimilated. Maybe they ate some ethnic food; maybe their parents spoke some of the old tongue. We were all just "Californians" and then "Americans".

I think what made Whites junk this and start seeing themselves as White was the mass immigration that flooded our state. In my city, it becomes obvious to me very quickly that I am a minority. Due to my UK, French and German heritage? No, because I am a "non-Hispanic White".

With a little bit of multiculturalism, national identity is still possible and can transcend ethnic identity. With overnight mass immigration, it becomes harder and harder.

Mass immigration also forced many of us Whites to reminisce about the California we grew up in and how and why it is not like that anymore. It also reminds us that what we grew up with, now gone forever, was something of real value. What did we grow up with? Not so much a White California, but a California with a White culture that most others just de facto embraced.

The reason it's gone, and replaced with something inferior, is due to mass immigration transforming this state into Tijuana North. We never thought about Hispanics much before, but now the issue is so shoved in our faces 24-7 that we can scarcely ignore it.

When a poor White neighborhood continues to be a better place to live than a poor Hispanic neighborhood, which in turn is a much better place to live than a poor Black neighborhood, it's hard not to think of "White" as a race. Whatever it is, even if not a race, it's something tangible and real, with hard reality consequences all the way down the line.

James is correct that many ethnic Whites have only recently been taken into the White fold and have started to think of themselves as White, instead of Irish, Portuguese, Italian, Armenian or whatnot. That's an interesting subject right there. How The Irish Became White is supposed to be a good book on that.

Noel Ignatiev, a Harvard professor, is a difficult and disturbing thinker, but this looks like a good book.

Anyway, Ignatiev's position is similar to Schipper's above. He doesn't want to get rid of Whites physically. Like Schipper, he just wants to get rid of the whole notion and category of White people, which he says has no meaning. Ignatiev has aroused fury in White nationalist circles due to his publishing a journal called Race Traitor. Ignatiev is Jewish. The reviews at the link are very interesting.

Race in a 1970's California Beach Town

When I grew up on the California beach in the 1970's, we had no White parts of town and Black parts of town. The whole place was White, with ethnics, Jews, NE Asians, Filipinos, Hispanics and mixed race folks scattered all about in fairly small numbers. It was a White culture in a White beach town, Huntington Beach.

All of the non-Whites pretty much just assimilated to the White, or American, or White American culture of the city. There was one Black kid in the school and I was his friend! There was a small group of Hispanics (Chicanoized) with gangs, and the Chicano barrio mindset at the school and I was friends with them!

I'm such a racist! From the early days yet! Snark.

What I am trying to say is that for all intents and purposes, in Huntington Beach, race just did not exist at all. The non-Whites associated with Whites and vice versa. The non-Whites were all pretty much assimilated to the White culture, so they were White for all intents and purposes. Their non-Whiteness was simply an accident of their ancestry and had no relevance on anything.

In every important way, the Chinese, Hispanics, Japanese, Filipinos, Cubans, Puerto Ricans and whatnot were just Whites with a little different ancestry, which may as well have been Czech or Greek or Italian.

For the most part, they were deracinated and fully assimilated to American society. None of them spoke their ethnic mother tongues. Most of the Hispanics had been in this country a long time - I never knew one recent immigrant from anywhere. If mass immigration was going on, it wasn't coming to my town.

The general attitude was that racism was a nasty thing. If you made an ethnic joke, either my brother who dated a Mexican girl or one of my best friends - the 1/2 Mexican guy or the 1/4 Chinese guy, or the Puerto Rican guy who objected to anti-Black jokes by noting that he was part-Black, or my Cuban girlfriend, would just shoot you right down angrily with an attitude like don't bring that up anymore.

The whole loony anti-racist notion (I'm sure that Whiteness Studies sees 1970's Huntington Beach that way) that the White suburbs of 1970's California were a place of vicious White racism is an insipid fantasy. Race was just not important. The other races didn't behave any differently from Whites, as they all assimilated and left their cultures long behind.

If they don't act any different, you have to be a real idiot just to hate someone who is different - who looks a little different, is different racially, has a different skin color, or whose ancestors came from a different land. For the most part, it simply did not occur.

We did have some Chicano-type Hispanics who lived in a place called Motown in downtown Huntington Beach. It was a mini-barrio full of graffiti and small gangs and Chicano culture. My friends and I were the only Whites who would befriend these real Chicanos.

I was a racist from childhood! Snark.

They were all into the gang thing, the guys were into the stereotypical Chicano machismo male psychological cultural set, and the girls were all into the stereotypical barrio Latina psychological cultural set.

We made friends with them, but no one ever wanted to, say, go hang out with them on the weekends. They just lived in another world.

Well, Chicano culture hasn't changed one bit since then, at least the barrio kind. There's still a vast Hispanic set in the US who are more or less assimilating to whatever American culture means in 2008, though less so than the ones I grew up with. And Motown has come to my town. It's taken it over. I live now in an entire city full of Huntington Beach Motown 1975. It's 33 years later, and nothing has changed. Motown 1975 is Madera 2008.

I'm convinced that young barrio Hispanics really do love gang culture. They love it all, the fights, the tattoos, the colors, the sets, the hardass mentality, the gangsta rap, the crime, the money, the knives, the guns, the jail, the prison the probation and yes, even the funerals. They're in thrall to it. How do I know this? I live with these people, and they are in my home and car night and day.

Older Hispanics love fights too. I hang out in Mexican bars full of drunken illegal aliens, blasting Norteno music, with strippers grinding in the background. It's kind of a seedy, somewhat dangerous place, but I can usually handle myself in these places.

There are all sorts of really scary looking guys in there, guys who glare at you with menace, older hardcore Norteno gangsters, and guys who just look like criminals. Drunken brawls break out, and the owner won't even break it up. The chairs and tables fly and all the guys just lap it up. Even the owner loves it his furniture flies. I guess macho Mexican males love a fight. Same way macho young Hispanic males love gangs.

Most importantly, that's why Hispanic gang culture ain't going away. All the gang task forces, the social programs, the anti-gang programs, years and what, decades now, and where are we? Worse than ever. And the more we import barrio-prone and gang-prone (that is, those who will go gang/barrio rather than avoiding that) Mesoamericans via immigration, legal or illegal, the more this phenomenon will grow and grow.

In my town when I grew up, White culture and American culture were synonymous. That may be wrong, but that's just the way it was. For a lot of us, that's the way it's always been. Motown and South Central LA were always peripheral to mainstream US culture growing up, and they surely were in my town.

I don't like it that Motown has come to my town. I like my Hispanics assimilated, thank you very much. Mexican and Hispanic barrio culture is good and bad, like all the rest, but the bad repels me like a face slap. If that makes me a racist, then I will stand up and say I'm a racist, loud and proud. No problem at all.

The Mestizo future is rising behind the hills of America, a jealous, angry, resentful, demanding and haughty yet peculiarly unthinking God, glaring in our faces. American culture and White culture are no longer the same. Motown has come to America and scribbled graffiti over about half of it, and East LA is California.

At some point in the not too distant future, the US will become just another Latin American country. The process of Mestizization, the murderous marriage that wove its tragic yet beautiful tapestry over our continent, yet somehow passed us by, will overtake us yet. We thought we could avoid it, that we were not a part of the mestizo and mulatto Americas after all, but we were only buying time.

America left the United States of, and the Americas walked right in. Why not, with the back door unlocked and swinging wide?

At this point, there is not much to do about it but learn Spanish and plan for the future. Will we be Peru, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Brazil or Colombia? Or Chile, Costa Rica, Dominica or Argentina?

The future is not way off in never never land, out of our minds and our petty little worlds. The future is now. Get active. If you don't die beforehand, either you come to the future or it comes to you. Stride forward to greet your new world, smiling or not. At least you will be ready.

US Hispanic Racial Dynamics

This is an update to an earlier post, The Racial Makeup of Hispanics. For background on the issue, please refer to the previous post.

This post will mostly deal with Hispanics in California, because that is where I live.

In the previous post, we noted that Hispanics seemed to be getting darker (more Indian and Black and less White) with time in California and the Southwest. The first study, done in the early 80's in San Diego, showed CA Chicanos to be 68% White, 30% Indian and 2% Black.

The second study, done in 1998, that show Arizona Chicanos were 57% White, 39% Indian and 4% Black. That figure is about the same as for California 14 years prior. This is because the Mexicans who go to Arizona, New Mexico and Texas have traditionally been lighter than the ones who come to California.

We now have a new study showing that by the year 2000, California Hispanics (overwhelmingly Mexicans and Chicanos) have become much darker over 16 years. The new study includes two surveys - one shows CA Hispanics at 46% White, 43% Indian and 11% Black, while the other shows them at 48% White, 38% Indian and 13% Black. Taken together, the studies show CA Hispanics at 47% White, 40.5% Indian and 12% Black.

Two new studies were reported in the Southwest US as a whole from 2000. The first found admixture of 64% White and 36% Indian and the second found 66% White and 34% Indian. Another study of the border county of Starr County, Texas (97% Mexican) showed the typical Southwestern mix of 65% White, 35% Indian. No Black DNA was found in any of these studies.

The combined total for the three studies was 65% White and 35% Indian. This is about along the lines with what previous studies had found.

What this indicates in that the Chicanos and Mexicans in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Colorado are much Whiter, less Indian and dramatically less Black than those in California. This may be because of California's huge agricultural crops that attract many largely-Indian Mexicans from Guerrero and Oaxaca.

There is evidence that in general, the flow of Mexican immigrants to the US is the same as it has always been - they are coming from the same states as they have always come from:

In general, therefore, we do not find a "changing profile" of Mexican migrants during the 1980s. Rather, despite a few changes, we perceive a remarkable continuity in trends and patterns.

Maintaining a pattern that dates back at least to the 1940s and perhaps even to 1900, recent outflows continue to be dominated by migrants from a handful of western states: principally Guanajuato, Jalisco, and Michoacán, and to a lesser extent Durango, San Luis Potosí, and Zacatecas.

Together these six states have consistently accounted for about half of all Mexico-U.S. migrants, with the border states comprising another 30 percent and the central states making up the remaining 20 percent. Over time, emigration has also become less selective with respect to education, suggesting that the outflow has increasingly been one of the rural and urban poor, predominantly from the western states.

Most Mexican immigrants continue to come from the Northern, North-Central and the West-Central part of the country, traditionally Mestizo areas. Look at these pics of Tejano singers whose ancestors came from those places.

Chihuahua in Northern Mexico has traditionally sent many immigrants to the US. Check out these photos of Chihuahua hotties and see how they are a lot more White than Indian. This phenotype is so common in my town that it is almost ubiquitous.

A typical Mexican-American in the US. They have, in general, a light brown skin color that is well within the range of Mediterranean White populations. Mexicans in Mexico tend to be much darker due to less White admixture (but it varies by region - see below). Mexican-Americans who have been in the US for longer tend to be Whiter, while recent immigrants tend to be more Indian.

Once again, to reiterate, 50% of Mexico's historic immigration has come from the more Euro-Mestizo (Zacatecas is actually the most Mestizo state in Mexico - it has almost no Whites or Indians) rural areas of Jalisco, Zacatecas, Sinaloa, Guanajuato, Michoacan, San Luis Potosi and Durango. These states are Western Mexico or North-Central Mexico.

The border states of Chihuahua, Sonora, Nuevo Leon and Coahuila have traditionally made up 30% of Mexico's immigration. Mexicans in these states are some of the Whitest (Mestizos) in all Mexico.

The reason that those states are Whiter is because they had fewer Amerindians from the very start.

Admixture studies from Mexico as a whole. The only areas with majority-White genes in this chart are in Nuevo Leon, Jalisco and Mexico City. All of these areas also have negligible to zero Black genes. The other areas are generally mostly-Indian or plurality-Indian, except in Veracruz, where Indian and White constitute the largest groups, followed closely by Blacks. In Veracruz, Mexico State, Campeche and Tabasco, there is a substantial Black element totalling around 15-25%.

Combined totals of the three heavily Cuban (and Venezuelan and Nicaraguan upper class in Florida) areas of Florida, New Jersey and the SE US show a population that is 83% White, 10% Indian and 7% Black. This indicates that Hispanics in this area are de facto mostly-White people, though they are mixed race.

Hispanics in Pennsylvania are 83% White and 13% Black, with no Indian. There is a good guess that these are mostly Puerto Ricans and possibly Dominicans.

The Hispanic population of Virginia is hard to characterize - it is 64% White, 21% Indian and 15% Black. There are many Salvadorans in this state, but that does not sound like a Salvadoran racial mix - Salvadorans have little to no Black in them. This group is probably mixed Salvadoran, Puerto Rican, Dominican and Mexican.

All told, the total on the East Coast is 79% White, 10% Indian and 11% Black. The Hispanics on the East Coast are clearly an overwhelmingly-White group of mixed race persons.

Let us look at these figures as a chart:

Hispanics on the East Coast and in the US Southwest are to this day a mostly-White ethnic group, despite the fevered blatherings of White nationalists.

This can no longer be said about California's Hispanics. California's Hispanic population is now the least White, the most Indian and the most Black of any major region in the US, and it has become much less White, more Indian and dramatically more Black in the past few decades.

Prophets Shouting in the Wilderness

From some responses to a post of mine, More Illegal Immigration Madness. I'm amazed at how apathetic the rest of the country is about this Mesoamerican mass illegal immigration that has swamped us in the Southwest.

Some of us, like me, are angry at those who say, "No big deal, let them all in," while they live in places in which few illegals have yet swarmed. So we do take a bit of shaudenfruede enjoyment out of the near future that you all will be experiencing in the next 20 years or sooner, assuming you live that long and still live in the Lower 48.

What's truly sick is that to remark on this idiocy of mass invasion by what amounts to an occupying army of enemy soldiers in any way is considered to be grotesque racism, and an example of White Power, Nazi or White Supremacist tendencies (!).

The Mexicans run the show around here and they police things very well. If they think you are a White Power, excuse me, an opponent of illegal Mexican mass invasion, then they will shun you, glare at you, spit at you, threaten you, bang things and make loud noises until you move away, threaten to beat you up, try to ban you from their establishments, on and on.

If you mention illegals in public, the Hispanics all start glaring at you and your friends start kicking you and ordering you threateningly to shut up. People are actually scared of the illegals here.

They are like a teeming Latin American Underclass in a revolutionary situation south of the border, and one gets the feeling that they could take up guerrilla warfare of some sort of another at any time, just like in a non-US banana republic.

In some ways, maybe they already have.

Funny thing is Mexicans are pretty damn racist themselves and they are incredibly ethnocentric. You know, those handy little caveman weapons that come in handy during the sort of Hispanic-non-Hispanic ethnic warfare that we currently live under. On the contrary, if one hates being invaded like this, it's a sign that they still have a bit of sanity left and haven't drunken too much of the multicultural Koolaid yet.

There's no space at all on the Left or in the Democratic Party for views like those below, and that has to be the biggest tragedy of them all. Way to go, concede more space to the Right.

Neither of these posters is the slightest bit racist, I am convinced. Or if they are, I don't care anymore. There's really no other sane way to react in this situation.

Wait until you people in states other than California see what it is really like to live in a Mexican city in the former United States. Your co-workers will be speaking Spanish, not English, and receiving food stamps even though they earn as much as you, while you will be called racist for speaking your mind on anything that offends anyone Hispanic.

Your children will be sidetracked in school, and the little gang-mentality foreigners will cause you and your children grief and money. When you have a fender bender, you will find that the person that hit you has no insurance and does not speak English (conveniently) and the court will refuse to do anything about it. California is now a horrible place to live, and it won't be long until all of America is like California.


Transplanted Texan, Sun City, CA, howls back, coyote-like: Gee, I believe they are starting to get the picture. The best is yet to come, sorry to say. They will grow accustomed to living in a 3rd World culture. Gangs, Mexican graffiti on all the fences, walls, schools, etc. Oh, and the daily drive-by shootings, murders, thefts and threats to their children at school. Just to name a few treats to come.

Whatever it takes, Mexico's chief export, narcotics, will play a part in their lives. Murdered police officers, drug dealers, wars. Our country is in such trouble, we all need to pray for what is still our county and the generations of Americans to come.

More Illegal Immigration Madness

First off, let me start out by saying that I am a Leftist. In fact, I am a Communist. However, unlike 99% of Leftists, I actually oppose illegal immigration. Why? Because it is one of the worst things that has ever happened to American workers of all colors.

In my town, Madera, California, I figure that 85% of local Hispanics support the illegals that run amok all over here. The reason for that is clear. Hispanics, like every other group except Whites, are allowed to be and even encouraged to be ethnocentric.

What's completely insane about is that in their ethnocentrism, Hispanics are really hurting themselves. You never see a Help Wanted sign in this town. Why would you, when the unemployment rate is 11%? Yet I don't know one single illegal alien who is out of work. It seems 100% of them are working.

My White friend has roofing skills. He goes down to the local hiring hall and tries to get hired, but he does demand $9/hr. That's $1 over minimum wage. Yet every time, the employers say that some illegal over there will do it for $4-5/hr (that's far below minimum wage).

Also, my friend says that every job he applies for demands bilingual skills in Spanish. As he is not bilingual, he is SOL.

I find this ridiculous. It might be slightly sensible if these Spanish speakers were natives who had lived here since 1850 and hence had some right to their native tongue.

Instead, almost all of the ones you will need to use Spanish with are illegal aliens who hopped the border in the past 20 years. The notion that one cannot get a job in the US unless one speaks a foreign language is preposterous. I think it ought to be illegal.

Bottom line is I know all sorts of young Americans around here who are out of work. Now, they aren't always the most wonderful citizens, but if there were Help Wanted signs all over town, I think they could work somewhere.

Instead, they are unemployed and spend their days involved with gangs, crime, tagging, rolling drunks, fighting with gang rivals, leeching off their stupid girlfriends, engaging in petty thievery, and especially smoking dope. They just in general act highly uncivilized.

I would like to point out here that in a manner that is little discussed, illegal immigration has been partly responsible for gangsta culture, drug abuse, laziness, and just general cultural degeneration among young Americans of all races.

Studies have shown that as illegal immigration has increased over the past 20 years or so, the number of young Americans who count themselves as "discouraged workers" who have dropped out of the labor force has grown significantly.

The two things must be related.

Illegals are taking all the low-skilled labor and these were the sort of jobs young Americans cut their working teeth on in their youth. With no work to do, young Americans become discouraged, drop out and culturally degenerate in various ways.

In the comments section, commenter Lafayette brings up a highly pro-immigrant Weltanshauung in the UK involving Polish workers. The content is familiar. Britons are told endlessly the society will collapse if not for the immigrants. There are so many jobs that young Britons just will not do. If the immigrants go, the economy will tank. On and on.

I don't know the dynamic of Polish immigrants in the UK, but I assume that they are working for lower wages than Britons work for. Otherwise the entire UK media would not be cheering them on. I also noticed an article recently that said that Polish workers were better workers than British workers.

This is part of the pro-immigrant culture that we went through in the West under Reagan. Starting under Reagan, a new culture developed in America whereby rightwingers repeatedly endlessly what crappy workers Americans were, especially blue collar workers. There was no evidence for this whatsoever, but the talk went on.

Americans, mostly young Whites, were also told that blue collar jobs were for losers. The only way to be a winner in America was to run a business or work in an office. Good, honest, US working class culture was degraded with an incessant drumbeat. At the same time, the illegals started to pour in.

I think that these two things were connected.

There was a concerted rightwing project to tell young Americans that working class jobs were for losers and that US working class workers were crappy workers, combined with the beginnings of a total flood of unskilled labor from south of the border. The unstated assumption: the US working class all needed to be replaced by immigrants, especially illegals from Mesoamerica.

At the same time, an all-out war was waged on unions, the organizations of the US working class. The notion was also promoted that Americans are some kind of sissy fussbudgets who will not do any kind low-status labor. Therefore, we needed to import millions of illegals to do this work or else the economy would collapse. We were also regularly harangued with stories about phantom labor shortages.

After about 15 years or so of mass unskilled illegal immigration, the US Left did an about-face and decided to represent the interests of immigrant scabs over native workers. The nasty and wicked notion that normal, sane and reasonable opposition to illegal immigration was racism (!) was promoted, and soon wormed its way through the whole culture to where it is now widely accepted.

After that, the labor unions themselves, the last holdout of the workers, went over to the immigrant scabs, and US workers were finally left completely high and dry.

I would like to point out that the entire MSM was complicit in this, and they are to this day. Realize that if the MSM is consistent about any one thing, it is their sheer and utter contempt for labor. There is not one single major US newsmagazine, TV news station or large daily newspaper that is the slightest bit friendly to labor, much less organized labor.

As the UK's lunatic pro-immigrant culture continued, these same nasty memes wormed their way into the culture. One is the notion that there are certain jobs that Britons simply will not do. It's not stated, but what's implied is that Britons will not do this work for any amount of money. I don't know about Britons, but here in the US, that's manifestly untrue for anything other than field work.

A much more pernicious line soon followed, and this is that the foreigners are actually better workers than the natives. The Right will start this line, but soon the ultra-traitors of the Idiot Left will pick up on it.

I had an anarchist say straight to my face that US workers are lazy and incompetent, and that's why we need illegals to replace them (!).

Lafayette also points out that in the UK, the entire Left has given up on the working class. Instead, it is supporting immigrant scabs who are being brought in for the sole purpose of driving down the cost of labor for UK native workers.

What followed after that is that the labor unions themselves got on board and supported the immigrant scabs over the interests of native workers. Since government and media never support native workers, and as Lafayette notes, the Left completely gave up on them, what this means is that native workers lost their last friend - their very own unions .

The Left here in the US and UK will respond with the pleasant-sounding nostrum that what is needed is to organize all of the immigrants, especially the illegals. The problem is that this feel-good fall-back position is utterly doomed to failure.

The notion that organizing these illegals is going to help anything is even more idiotic here in the US than it is in the UK. Unionization in the US has been plummeting since the 1950's and in particular since 1973. Unions are now so weak that it's ridiculous. That they are suddenly going to organize all of these immigrant scabs and regain all their power and glory is comical.

Even if they did organize the immigrants, as Lafayette notes, what good is it with ten or more workers lining up for every unskilled job? All the unions in the world are pretty useless in the face of a tidal wave and resulting massive glut in unskilled labor.

Under capitalism, labor is like pricing - it is based on supply and demand. Massive oversupply of low-skilled labor will result in the bottoming out of the price of labor just as massive oversupply in a type of goods will result in the collapse in the price of that particular widget.

So with fields like construction totally glutted with low to unskilled workers, the high-paying construction jobs of yesterday are never coming back, whether you organize the immigrant scabs or not.

US unions can't even organize US workers and get them to join unions. How will they organize a bunch of illegals who can't even speak English?

P.S. I am not a xenophobe. I do support limited (200,000 a year?), tightly controlled legal immigration. The immigrants should be rigorously analyzed, and the vast majority of potential immigrants should be rejected. Immigrants should be required to jump through many hoops in order to prove to us exactly how they will be an asset to our nation instead of adding to our nightmarish underclass.

Educational, legal and other histories should be reviewed. Those immigrants from whatever land who successfully run this tough gauntlet are likely to be net benefits as opposed to net detractors to our nation.

One of the principal problems with illegal immigrants is that it is unscreened, so instead of getting high-quality immigrants, we get the peasantry and urban poor of the Third World. They are unlikely to be net benefits to our land in either the short or long run. Chain migration (family reunification) should be drastically scaled back or ended altogether.
