Kim Sun-Il Beheading Video

This is surely one of the most horrible beheading videos I have ever seen. I have only watched it once, soon after it came out. I had earlier watched the Nick Berg beheading video, and it had traumatized me badly for week or two afterward. Then I watched this video. It's way more fucked up than the Nick Berg video!

Kim Sun-Il was a young South Korean man with degrees in theology, English and Arabic from South Korean universities. The Arabic degree was a graduate degree.

He had hopes of becoming a missionary in the Middle East when he signed on with Gana General Trading, a South Korean company that was doing business with the US military as a contractor. He arrived in Iraq on June 15, 2003.

He worked as an Arabic translator for the US military until he was captured by guerrillas on May 30, 2004 in Fallujah by Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad, Abu Musab Zarqawi's group that later became Iraqi Al Qaeda.

The group issued a demand of South Korea that they withdraw their 660 medics and military engineers already in the country and that they cancel plans to send another 3,000 troops. Otherwise, they would kill Sun-Il. The South Korean government denied the demands.

The group initially set a June 21 deadline for their demands to be met or they would kill Sun-Il. On June 22, Al Jazeera received a videotape of his brutal execution. His body was later found, but I am not sure where.

The video opens with Sun-Il seated on the ground in front of some Al Qaeda ogres dressed in black and wearing masks. One of them is reading from some script in Arabic. There is Arabic music in the background.

As they are reading in the script, Sun-Il, is, horribly, screaming over and over, ""I don't want to die! I don't want to die!" He is screaming it at the top of his lungs with all the passion you would expect of a man who knows he is doomed.

Finally they finish the speech and one guy grabs Sun-Il and pins him down as he struggles. The other guy pulls out a huge knife and saws the poor guy's head off as he screams. The head is quickly chopped off, then the bloody head is held up for all to see.

It's Sun-Il's head all right, but there are long trails of bloody entrails, guts looking things hanging off his head, the remains of his neck apparently. The entrails are swaying with the head and there is a huge amount of blood dripping off. Then you see the frozen expression on the chopped head. The bloody tissue swaying and dripping off the gross severed head really did it for me.

Truly horrible!

Here is the video of Iraqi Al Qaeda shooting down what was originally widely reported to be a US Chinook helicopter, but was actually a CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter (a closely related chopper) in Karma on February 7, three days ago. Seven soldiers were killed when the helicopter was downed.

The Sea Knight, like the CH-47 Chinook, is used mostly for transporting soldiers, casualties and supplies to and from the battlefield. How many Marines could write a 500-word essay on US imperialism anyway? How many Marines would not understand the question or deny that US imperialism even existed? Soldiers are soldiers everywhere. They are rarely the bad guys.

Karma has continued to be hot and efforts to stabilize the area, ongoing for possibly years now, appear to have failed. Much of the Fallujah population has displaced to Saqlawiyah and Karma, towns outside Fallujah, often in refugee camps or else staying with friends or relatives.

A US reporter who visited these camps after the first US offensive on Fallujah in April 2004 reported that 100% of the 150,000 population either supported the guerrillas or were part of the guerrillas in some way or other. That's 150,000 guerrillas or active guerrilla supporters right there.

Much has been written about the six US helicopters downed in the past 3 weeks. The guerrillas appear to be on a roll. The majority of these take downs appear to have been with very heavy machine gun fire. That's heavy machine gun fire - not AK-47 automatic weapons fire. Este é um vídeo realmente horrível que eu tenho ouvido falar por muito tempo, mas odiei a ver até agora. Dies ist ein wirklich schreckliches Video von dem ich seit langem gehört habe, aber bis jetzt habe ich es immer verschoben das Video anzuschauen. Um die Wahrheit zu sagen hasse ich Enthauptungsvideos: Obwohl ich sie hin und wieder anschaue vermeide ich sie normalerweise. Es gibt viele Enthauptungsvideos von denen ich gehört, mich aber geweigert habe sie an zu schauen.

This is a truly horrible video that I have heard about for a long time but have put off watching until now. Truth be told, I hate beheading videos, though I watch them once in a while, I generally avoid them. There are many beheading videos that I have heard about but have refused to watch.

This was one of them, but I finally decided to watch it since someone linked it on the Wordpress site. It is pretty famous in the increasingly mundane (as in flooded) pantheon of modern beheading videos. It's only famous because a 12 year old boy is doing the head-chopping!

The event occurred in the tribal areas of Pakistan, probably in either North or South Waziristan, recently, though I do not have the exact date. The victim was said to be a spy for the US and the Pakistani military. The area is probably crawling with US spies, as US drones make regular attacks that could only occur if we had great on the ground intel.

As we might expect, he is a truly horrible beheader, especially since he has been given a very good knife. He takes forever to saw the poor guy's head off, and the blood flows like a brook in the meantime. It looks like a butcher sawing off the head of a cow! In the meantime, fully cloaked Muslims, possibly young girls (!) watch and egg him on.

The guy who gets killed puts up almost no struggle at all for some reason, but this is typical of bedeadings in the tribal areas of Pakistan. I'm not sure why that is. They are either drugged or resigned to death.

Anyway, this video is pretty damned sickening and freakish! It sucks that these Islamist scumbags are teaching what are basically children (a 12 year old is a little boy) how to be the most vile of murderers.

Nick Berg Beheading Video

This is an excellent copy of the Nick Berg Beheading Video. There are a still some copies floating around (though it is often hard to find), but often they are not very good. This is a copy of the first video that was released onto the Web in 2004. It was reportedly downloaded 10 million times!

There is something truly terrible and weird about this video. The footage is sort of amateurish and shaky, but it's not that bad. For one thing, Berg is dressed in an orange jumpsuit as the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay are. He is seated on a chair in an austere room.

At the beginning, he gives a short monologue, and he seems to be slightly smiling, but in an odd or sort of bizarre and detached way, while he is talking. Since you know what is going to happen to him later on, it's quite creepy.

Then Berg is seated on the floor in his jumpsuit, with five hooded monsters behind him, all dressed in black. The one in the middle, said to be Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, the famous head of Iraqi Al Qaeda at the time, reads a long speech in a creepy and angry voice. The other four sort of shift back and forth ominously as the speech goes on.

Berg is on the floor in front of them, seemingly calm or at least oblivious to what is going on. He doesn't seem to know what is going to happen to him. One gets the impression that he is either naive, drugged or possibly gone crazy from the confinement. At any rate, his behavior is incongruously disturbing.

At the end, the Orcs jump down and hold Berg down. Then Zarqawi saws off his head. When this happens, at first Berg screams horribly and tries to wriggle away, but he is beheaded quite quickly. Zarqawi then holds up the head, severed horribly, dripping with blood and with entrails hanging from it, while all of them shout, "Allahu Akbar!" over and over. The severed head has a strange horrified expression that is even more creepy.

At that moment you realize that this man has just had his life severed in the same manner as his head was. He's been killed in the most awful way, and now he's dead. I was literally shaking after watching this thing.

This was the first beheading video I ever saw, and this one stuck with me forever. I watched it once and was traumatized for 2 to 3 weeks afterwards, in one way or another. I watched it again, and that was one Hell of a mistake. I still rank this up there with the most terrifying shock videos on the Internet.

Berg was Jewish and went to post-invasion Iraq to try to drum up business for his business, Prometheus Tower Services, headquartered in Kenya, which made towers out of pressed construction blocks where the cost of a steel tower would be excessive. These were called Bovl Blocks. He seems to have been something of an adventurer.

He arrived in Iraq on December 21, 2003 and ventured up to Mosul, where he visited the family of an Iraqi man married to his aunt. He left and returned on March 14, 2004, intending to leave on March 30, 2004.

He wandered up to Mosul where he was detained by local police "for his own protection", as he was an obvious American wandering around an extremely unstable Iraq on his own, taking taxis, walking, etc. with no bodyguards at all. The Iraqis turned him over to Americans who detained him for 13 days without allowing him to meet a lawyer.

Both Iraqis and the US were worried that he was some sort of a spy or an agent, but apparently he was not. FBI agents visited his parents to confirm his identity on March 31. His parents filed suit to release him, and he was let go on April 5. The US says they never held him, that instead the Iraqis were holding him, but this appears to be a lie as we now have an email showing that US forces were indeed detaining him.

He was released on March 6. US officials advised him to leave Iraq immediately and offered him a flight out. Berg refused and instead headed down to Baghdad. He stayed in a cheap hotel in Baghdad and hung out at the gym where he chatted with and made friends with some of the regulars.

Berg had his last contact with US officials on April 10 and did not come back to his hotel that night. All of Iraq was in flames in the midst of a huge uprising. Berg had his bags and he was wandering about Baghdad apparently trying to find his way out of the city. This is apparently when he was abducted by Iraqi Al Qaeda.

His family became worried when they did not hear from him for a few weeks and contacted US officials, but they had no word on him. His decapitated body was found on a Baghdad overpass on May 5, 2004, just as the first invasion of Fallujah was getting underway. On May 11, a video was released on the Malaysian website of Muntada al Ansar, a militant group. The video was titled Abu Musab al-Zarqawi Slaughters an American.

A CIA voice analysis of the tape one week said that the man reading the speech and who conducted the beheading had a high probability of being Zarqawi himself.

In the speech, Zarqawi says, "We tell you that the dignity of the Muslim men and women in Abu Ghraib and others is not redeemed except by blood and souls. You will not receive anything from us but coffins after coffins ... slaughtered in this way." He also threatens President Bush and President Musharaff of Pakistan.

A French reporter, Sara Daniel, later interviewed Abu Rashid, head of the Mujahedin Council in Fallujah, who admitted that his group had killed Berg. He said that they tried to do a prisoner exchange with the US for Berg, but the US rebuffed them.

There are some controversies about the video, but it doesn't appear to be a CIA or Mossad false flag operation, which is one of the popular anti-Semitic theories out there.

One of the conspiracy theories is that Berg's monologue at the beginning comes from his interrogation while being held in US custody. Therefore, the video is a false flag op. I don't believe there is good evidence for this. Another theory is that he was already dead when the video was made, and that a corpse was beheaded. But I've never heard or seen a corpse wriggle and scream like that before.

Appointment with Death: The Beheading of Daniel Pearl

This is the actual Daniel Pearl beheading video. It's titled The Slaughter of the Spy-Journalist, the Jew Daniel Pearl (download the video on this site here), but I think the title is in Urdu at the beginning, so most won't be able to read that.

This video is easier to take than you might think. The actual beheading is thankfully not shown, but we do see the severed head afterward. It is said that in this video, Pearl says, "My mother was a Jew. I am a Jew," and just then Khalid Sheik Mohammad (KSM) comes up behind him, pulls out a knife, and slits his throat. That never happens.

What really happens in this video is that Pearl gives a little pre-prepared speech listing some of the demands of his captors. Pearl also makes some impromptu remarks about his Jewish ethnicity, that of his family, his family's Jewish religion, the fact that his family are Zionists, and a town in Israel that is named after his great-grandfather, a famous Zionist.

While Pearl is making all these remarks about Israel, Zionism, Judaism, etc., there are interspersed photos of Israeli troops hassling and arresting Palestinians, of dead Palestinians, etc. Then it shows Pearl on the ground, already dead thank God, apparently with his throat slit, while an unknown man, possibly KSM, easily saws off the head and then holds it up.

The severed head stays up for the rest of the video while the group names itself - the National Movement for Pakistan Sovereignty, and lists a number of nationalist demands - the return of all Pakistani prisoners from Guantanamo, the release of all prisoners from Guantanamo, the release of F-16's that Pakistan bought from the US and never received, and an end to all US presence in Pakistan.

Then it says, "We assure Americans that they will never be safe on the Muslim land of Pakistan." This is followed by, "And if our demands are not met, this scene shall be repeated again and again and again..." A good play-by-play of the video is here.

The first part of the video is not that hard to take. Pearl is unusually composed and assured while he talks about Judaism, Zionism, Jewishness and Israel. It's almost as if he is proud.

But then he talks about how hard it is to be kidnapped - "The most difficult part is not knowing where you are or what is going to happen to you" - then he recites what is apparently a scripted propaganda anti-US screed about US foreign policy. His voice breaks, he seems nervous, stressed and frightened. He also looks a lot more haggard.

It's as if the two separate speeches were shot at different times. At that time, I felt sorry for the guy because he seemed so scared, and I knew what was going to happen to him. But right before he gets killed, when he's talking about the Jewish stuff, he's a whole new man, and he may as well be speaking at his college graduation. And this is seconds before his demise. Interesting.

Pearl was a reporter for the Wall Street Journal investigating, of all things, the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI - this is the Pakistani FBI-CIA combined) and their possible links with Muslim terrorism and in particular Al Qaeda. I can't believe this guy was running around Pakistan, a Jew and an American, openly asking questions like that.

On January 23, 2002, he made an appointment to meet some Al Qaeda guy, and then he went missing for a while. The group announced his kidnapping, said he was a CIA agent (dubious) and made a list of demands. They also released a photo of Pearl with a gun to his head holding up a newspaper with the date on it.

Pearl was killed on February 1, 2002 by beheading. On May 16, his body was found cut up in ten pieces in a shallow grave in Karachi. He was most probably murdered in Karachi. Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, a British Pakistani with a most interesting history, was eventually charged along with three others with the killing; Sheikh was sentenced to death. The death sentence has yet to be carried out.

Sheikh is a most interesting fellow. He was apparently an agent or asset with the British MI-6 (the British equivalent of the CIA), beginning in 1994, and possibly up until his arrest. He also appears to have been an ISI agent at some time, at least in 2001, and possibly until his arrest or even afterward. Pakistani President Pervez Musharaff says he was a double agent.

It seems that Sheikh, and apparently also elements of the ISI, played a key role in Al Qaeda's 9-11 attacks on the US. This has never been adequately followed up by the US due to the US-Pakistani alliance.

My personal opinion is that the ISI, using KSM and Sheikh, kidnapped and killed Pearl for looking into the ISI-Al Qaeda link. I think that then, under pressure from the US, they gave up Sheikh and sentenced him to death, but the sentence has not yet been carried out.

I think that for Daniel Pearl, a Jewish reporter, to go to Pakistan soon after 9-11 and the US invasion of Afghanistan and wander around Pakistan openly investigating ISI-Al Qaeda links to the point of meeting with Al Qaeda guys was pretty much suicidal. I'm not defending these scumbags who killed him. I'm just saying it wasn't a very smart thing for Pearl to do.

I guess the subtext is that all Jews have to move to Israel and sit under a 200-nuke umbrella to keep from getting beheaded by Al Qaeda types. This is silly, but it's typical Zionist Jewish thinking.

Sadly, Pearl was killed in part for being a Jew, and his killers were surely virulent anti-Semites, but there's more to it than that. I bet if he were a Jewish butterfly collector wandering around Pakistan netting butterflies, nothing would have ever happened to him. Other Jewish reporters have since gone to Pakistan and even openly interviewed heads of madrassas with no problems at all.

Pearl was on a virtual suicide mission. At the very least, he was living very, very dangerously. People who choose to do that in our world sometimes end up injured or even dead. Happens all the time. The Daniel Pearl story is sad, but there is less here than the popular myth that is developing around the man.

Pearl was an excellent student, graduated from a top university and was a superb journalist, breaking some of the biggest stories of the late 1980's and 1990's.

He was not a bad person, and he had many exemplary traits. May he rest in peace.

Les phrases ont un ton méprisant : les mots de Pearl sont clairs quand il se défini juif, sa tradition religieuse et familiale, son sionisme accentué par le fait que l’un de ses aïeuls ait une rue à son nom dans une ville d’Israël etc. Pendant que Pearl parle des images de troupes israéliennes défilent, en action contre des palestiniens, morts.

Mais pour le peuple islamique un "mea culpa" ne suffit pas...il faut du sang...alors la scène change et le corps inanimé de Pearl, gorge tranchée, est séparé par un expert cagoulé (KSM), la tête est exhibée triomphalement.

De mon coté, il semble qu’au début Pearl soit digne et serein, je dirais même orgueilleux et fier de ses origines et de ses idées Sionistes.

Ensuite on voit la frayeur. La peur d’être un otage et de ne pas connaître son avenir proche. Quand il faut "réciter" la propagande anti-USA, sa voix se brise, il devient nerveux, apeuré ; son visage n’est plus le même : il est évident que la vidéo a été tournée en plusieurs fois.

Oui, à cet instant ça me faisait beaucoup de peine de le voir ainsi : c’était un homme apeuré et je savais déjà comment il allait finir. Puis un instant avant sa mort, le voici qui se transforme et commence à parler comme un étudiant d’université. Un autre homme, à quelques instants de la mort...intéressant...

Mais qui était Pearl ? Un reporter, un espion, ou bien les deux à la fois ? Officiellement il travaillait pour le WSJ et était en train de préparer un reportage sur les collusions possibles entre les services secrets pakistanais (ISI) et les cellules terroristes de Al Qaeda. Qui est Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh?

C’est un Anglo-pakistanais qui a un passé pour le moins douteux ou déconcertant.

Le bruit court qu’il était un agent ou un infiltré du MI-6 (une sorte de James Bond) depuis 1994, mais aussi un agent du ISI en 2001. En gros une personnalité tellement controversée que même le Président pakistanais Musharaff a dit de lui qu’il était un agent double !

Voici mon hypothèse: l’ISI a fait taire Daniel Pearl qui était en train d’enquêter sur leurs connexions avec Al Qaeda. Les exécutants étaient KSM et Sheik.

Pour calmer leur opinion publique, les Etats unis ont exercé de fortes pressions sur le gouvernement pakistanais afin de trouver un coupable, et le voici tout trouvé! Pauvre Sheik, baisé, mais pas encore justicié. Il doit avoir sûrement un "parrain" politique (ou bien il doit avoir quelques documents secrets bien cachés).

Si Daniel Pearl était vraiment un brave reporter juif américain, et bien, il était candidat au suicide. Après le 11 septembre, aucune personne dotée de bon sens serait allée au Pakistan pour enquêter sur les services secrets pakistanais, sur leurs rapports avec Al Qaeda, et organiser une rencontre avec un terroriste musulman.

Officiellement Pearl avait même une famille ! Je ne suis pas en train de défendre les salauds qui l’ont tué, je dis que quelque chose ne tourne pas rond.

Depuis lors la communauté juive mondiale a créé le mythe du journaliste intrépide et légendaire. Bernard Henri-Levy, lui a dédié un livre.

L’image d’un nouveau Dreyfus, l’héroïque journaliste décapité seulement parce qu’il était juif, va à merveille à Daniel Pearl.

Les musulmans sont les nouveaux nazis, désireux de terminer l’oeuvre d’Hitler, et les Juifs continuent de vivre dans un monde hostile.

C’est clairement une vision paranoïaque, comme si tous les Juifs du monde devaient retourner en Israël, effrayés de mourir comme Pearl. Israël doit se défendre de l’attaque musulmane même avec la bombe atomique.

Il est vrai que Pearl a été tué par des fanatiques antisémites, mais il y avait aussi autre chose.

Pourquoi donc d’autres journalistes juifs ont pu faire tranquillement leur travail au Pakistan ? Il y a même des interviews et des reportages avec certains chefs de clan musulmans !!!

Si Pearl était un journaliste il ne pouvait pas ignorer qu’il allait vers une mort certaine. Le métier de journaliste prévoit ce risque, c’est déjà arrivé et ça arrivera encore. Je ne pense pas qu’il faut mythifier un homme qui a voulu hélas risquer sa vie de façon inconsidérée.

Daniel Pearl avait une grande valeur intellectuelle, un parcours universitaire de premier ordre, il était un journaliste doué, auteur de grands reportages à la fin des années 80 et durant les années 90. Un grand homme sûrement, qu’il repose en paix.

Ne ho presentati solo alcuni, molto popolari, come la...Dua Khalil, l'impiccagione di Saddam Hussein, la decapitazione di 'neri' effettuata dai neo-nazisti russi ed il presente video. Come da mia abitudine, i video sono accompagnati dal mio commento ed analisi storica.

Questo video, già diffuso in rete negli anni scorsi, è intitolato: la decapitazione di un giornalista/spia, l'ebreo Daniel Pearl (scarica il video in questo sito). I titoli di testa sono in lingua Urdu (praticamente sconosciuta alla massa).

Contrariamente alle 'leggende metropolitane' ci viene risparmiata la visione del momento dell'esecuzione. Non si vede D.Pearl pronunciare le sue ultime parole 'Mia madre era ebrea, io sono un ebreo' e poi il boia Khalid Sheikh Mohammad (KSM) avventarsi e tagliargli la gola.

Sono visibili invece le immagini successive che ci mostrano l'efferato scempio (la decapitazione e l'esibizione della testa mozza) fatto al cadavere dal boia KSM.

Al video è stato dato un taglio (e mi si perdoni la parola...) giornalistico, curando preminentemente il messaggio propagandistico ed i dettagli politici.

In effetti, nella prima parte Pearl elenca brevemente le domande alle quali dovrà rispondere, evidentemente 'sotto dettatura'.

Le frasi hanno un significato dispregiativo: sono chiare le parole di Pearl quando si definisce ebreo, la sua tradizione religiosa e famigliare, il suo Sionismo accentuato dal fatto che ad un suo avo sia stata intitolata una strada in una città d'Israele etc. Quando Pearl parla trascorrono le immagini di truppe israeliane in azioni contro i palestinesi, morti...

Ma per il popolo islamico non basta un 'mea culpa'...ci vuole il sangue...ed allora la scena cambia ed il corpo esanime di Pearl, la gola squarciata, viene decollato da un esperto incappucciato (KSM), la testa viene esibità trionfalmente.

Quest'orrenda immagine farà da sfondo alla parte finale del video. In sovraimpressione compare la sigla del NMFPS e l'abituale elenco di richieste..

Liberazione di tutti i prigionieri da Guantanamo (Pakistani in testa), la consegna dei bombardieri F-16 acquistati e pagati dal Pakistan e mai forniti dagli Usa (questa sì che è uno Scam...) e la fine della presenza militare Usa in Pakistan.

Ecco la minaccia finale: americani...non sarete mai al sicuro nel sacro suolo islamico del Pakistan, se non acconsentirete alle nostre richieste, questa scena si ripeterà ancora, ed ancora...per sempre!

Da parte mia, mi sembra che all'inizio Pearl sia composto e tranquillo, direi anche orgoglioso e fiero delle sue origini ed idee Sioniste.

Ma poi si vede la paura...la paura di essere in ostaggio e non conoscere il proprio futuro. Quando deve 'recitare' la propaganda anti-Usa, la sua voce si spezza, è nervoso, impaurito, il suo volto non è più lo stesso: è evidente che il video è stato girato in tempi differenti.

Sì, in quel istante mi faceva molta pena: era un uomo impaurito ed io sapevo già qual'era la sua fine, ma poi, un attimo prima della sua fine, ecco che si trasforma in un'altro uomo ed inizia a parlare come un laureando...un altro uomo ad alcuni secondi dalla morte...interessante.

Ma chi era Pearl? Reporter o Spia o forse entrambi? Ufficialmente lavorava per il WSJ e stava preparando un reportage sull'intreccio tra i servizi segreti Pakistani (ISI) e le cellule terroristiche di Al Qaeda in quel paese. Ma, provate ad immaginare un giornalista (Pearl) ebreo ed americano, andare in giro per il Pakistan a fare domande di quel tipo, beh, non vi sembra una situazione inverosimile?

Il giorno della sua scomparsa, il 23 gennaio 2002, Pearl doveva incontrare un emissario di Al Qaeda. Il gruppo NMFPS ha rivendicato il suo rapimento; millantando l'ammissione di Pearl di essere un agente CIA ha presentato le proprie richieste. Ad ulteriore conferma di avere in mano Pearl, è stata inviata alla stampa una foto del prigioniero: mitra puntato alla testa e quotidiano con la data in evidenza.

Il 1° febbraio 2002, Pearl è stato ucciso e decapitato. Il suo corpo è stato ritrovato il 16 maggio successivo (mmm che brutto giorno..vi ricordate Moro?) in un cimitero di Karachi (probabile luogo della sua uccisione). Smembrato in 10 pezzi..orribile!

Della sua barbara uccisione sono stati incrimanti Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh...ed altre 3 complici. Ahmed è stato condannato a morte ma la sentenza non è stata ancora eseguita. E' qualcuno che gode di una certa protezione, evidentemente

CHI E' AHMED OMAR SAEED SHEIKH?

E' un Anglo/Pakistano da un passato a dir poco equivoco o sconcertante.

Si vocifera che fosse un agente o un infiltrato del MI-6 (tipo James Bond, per intenderci) dal 1994, ma anche un agente dell'ISI nel 2001. Insomma una personalità talmente discussa che perfino il Presidente Pakistano Musharaff ha detto la sua: era un agente che faceva il doppio gioco!

Già, sembra che nell'attacco alle Torri Gemelle l'Isi fosse ben coinvolto e che Sheik ha avuto un ruolo chiave in tutta la vicenda.

Ovviamente l'allenza Usa-Pakistan non ha permesso il diffondersi di voci relative ad un possibile coinvolgimento dei servizi segreti Pakistani all'attacco dell' 11 settembre.

La mia ipotesi è questa: l'ISI ha messo a tacere Daniel Pearl che stava indagando sul loro collegamento con Al Qaeda. Gli esecutori del piano erano KSM e Sheik.

Gli USA, per calmare l'opinione pubblica interna, hanno fatto formidabili pressioni sul Governo Pakistano per avere un colpevole, et voilà, trovato il colpevole! Povero Sheik...fottuto, ma non ancora giustiziato. Sicuramente deve avere qualche 'Padrino' Politico (oppure ha qualche documento top-secret ben nascosto...).

Se Daniel Pearl era solo un bravo reporter americano di origine ebrea, beh, scusatemi, era un candidato al suicidio! Dopo l'11 settembre, nessuna persona di buon senso sarebbe andata in un posto come il Pakistan, indagare sui servizi segreti Pakistani, indagare sui loro rapporti con Al Qaeda, organizzare un incontro con un terrorista mussulmano...

Ufficialmente Pearl aveva anche una famiglia!! Ecchecazzo! (ndt: scusate, la parolaccia è mia). Badate bene, non difendo i merdosi bastardi che lo hanno ucciso, dico solo che qualcosa non quadra!!

I nuovi nazisti sono i mussulmani, desiderosi di finire l'opera di Hitler, e gli ebrei continuano a vivere in un mondo ostile.

E' una chiara visione paranoica, è come se tutti gli Ebrei del mondo dovessero tornare in Israele, impauriti di fare la stessa fine di Pearl. Israele deve difendersi anche con le bombe atomiche dall'attacco mussulmano.

No, a parte tutto, è vero che Pearl è stato ucciso da fanatici antisemiti, ma è anche vero che sotto c'era dell'altro.

Perchè altri giornalisti ebrei, nello stesso periodo, hanno potuto fare tranquillamente il loro lavoro in Pakistan? Ci sono addirittura interviste e reportage con alcuni capi tribù mussulmani!!

Se Pearl era un giornalista, non poteva non sapere che andava incontro a morte quasi sicura. Il mestiere del giornalista prevede anche questo rischio, è successo e succederà sempre. Non penso che si debba mitizzare un uomo per aver voluto e purtroppo, lo ripeto ancora una volta, purtroppo rischiare la propria vita in un modo così sconsiderato.

Daniel Pearl aveva un forte spessore intellettuale, un background Universitario di prim'ordine, un fine giornalista, autore di grandi reportage alla fine degli anni '80 e nei primi anni '90. Un grande uomo sicuramente, ma non un mito costruito a tavolino. Non gli rende onore. Shalom, riposa in pace, Daniel.

Model For the Mumbai Assault: Mike's Place, Tel Aviv

You have to take Debka with a bucket of salt, but they often have some pretty good insights. The Mumbai operation bore some striking resemblances to the Mike's Place assault in Tel Aviv in 2003, which is now acknowledged to have been conceived by Al Qaeda. Based on the evidence, I am rejecting the calls by many pundits and experts that Al Qaeda had nothing to do with this attack.

Both attacks used British Pakistanis. Both attempted to attack Israelis and Americans. Both attempted to land the operatives by sea, seize a major hotel and take as many hostages as possible, while killing everyone in their path.

The Mike's Place attackers, Asif Muhammed Hanif and Omar Khan Sharif were supposed to attack the US Embassy, but that never came off. Both operations utilized attackers who were trained for long periods outside the country they were attacking. Hanif and Sharif were trained in Syria and the Gaza Strip.

In Gaza, their trainers were Hamas, so this really was a Hamas-Al Qaeda joint operation. The casualties were much fewer at Mike's Place - 3 dead and 60 wounded.

In May 2007, US forces captured Al Hadi al Iraq, an Al Qaeda operative, in Iraq. He confessed to having trained Hanif and Sharif, cementing the suspected AQ link.

In contrast, the Mumbai attackers utilized 30 attackers in teams of seven or more and attacked seven targets inside Mumbai. The locations to be attacked had been meticulously cased prior to the attacks, to the point of possibly setting up prior bases inside the Taj Majal Palace Hotel.

They were also in contact with handlers outside India (apparently in Pakistan) and seem to have had a support network inside Mumbai working with them during the operation.

Al Qaeda has advanced quite a bit in five years, from bomb vests to commando tactics, careful reconnaissance and attacking from third countries were hallmarks of both operations.

One of the terrorists' names has been released. He is Azzam Amir Kassab, age 21. Nothing more is known about him. He is one of the terrorists seen in a number of photos of the attack.

The terrorists used a very interesting cell structure. Each terrorist was linked to a handler outside of India. He only knew his handler. If caught, he could only give up one person, his handler, who has a code name and isn't even in India anyway.

With 30 attackers and 30 different handlers, the attackers probably met for the first time, like many of the 9-11 attackers, on the day of the attack.

This is an excellent use of the cell structure. In traditional cell structure, you only know the people in your cell. In a cell of three, three people know each other, possibly only by code names. If caught, they can maybe give up the members of their cell, but maybe not. Surely they can't give up anyone else.

At times, they are instructed to meet a courier or a messenger. They meet the person at the assigned place, transfer whatever needs to be transferred, and then part, never to meet again. If caught, there is no way to give up the messengers or couriers, because the cell members don't even know who they are.

I am quite certain that Al Qaeda was heavily involved in this attack. Other groups like SIMI or the Indian Mujaheddin (internal Indian Islamist terrorists) may have also been involved, but at a lesser level. The scale and the nature of the targets seems to rule out LeT or other Kashmiri separatists out of Pakistan, whatever their tenuous links to Al Qaeda.

Anyway, LeT is never shy about claiming responsibility, and they strongly condemned this attack in a statement. As Hamas is all about Palestine, LeT and JeM are all about Kashmir. What do they care about Americans, British and Israelis? Not much. That's Al Qeada's purview.

Since Al Qaeda has also declared total war on the Pakistani government, it makes little sense to blame the Pakistani regime for this attack. Both governments are being attacked by the same group.

The name Maulana Abdul Bari, an Indian Muslim based in Saudi Arabia, keeps coming up. He is suspected of bankrolling the attack. That makes perfect sense to me - Indian Muslims and Saudi Al Qaeda, with a British connection to boot. Saudi Arabia is after all, Al Qaeda's home territory, and traditionally, 80% of AQ's core were Saudis, though that may be changing in recent days.

Pundits and experts says that AQ is down to 100 or so members along the Pakistani-Afghan border, and is in such disarray that they are incapable of mounting any serious operation.

I disagree. Further, I feel that "macro-Al Qaeda" may have up to 70,000 "members and associates" worldwide. Keep in mind that when we discuss Al Qaeda, our theories about traditional hierarchical organizations or even "organizations" period go out the window.
