Bullfighter Juan Aparicio horribly gored by a bull in Summer 2010. He barely survived the attack and last heard from was in very serious condition in the hospital.

See that thing in his mouth, like he's trying to swallow a thick beef jerky stick all at once? Believe it or not, that's the bull's horn. The bull's horn went into his tongue and straight out of his mouth. Damn, nasty stuff.

This incident got a lot of play in Spain in the summer of 2010. The matador, Julio Aparicio, slipped, and that's where he messed up.

I hate these bullfights, so I should probably root for the bull in this case, but I did feel sorry for the guy. He survived the attack, but he was in extremely bad shape in the hospital right after the attack. He was back in the hospital on June 29, 2010 from an infection following surgery to reconstruct his throat, mouth and palate. His condition was listed as grave but stable. I don't have any further updates on his condition.

This guy's lucky to be alive.

Ricardo Lopez Live Internet Suicide Video

The story of Ricardo Lopez is a very sad one. He grew up in Florida and was remembered well by many of his friends as a kind, sensitive, artistic and intelligent boy.

After high school, he moved out and moved away from home to another state. He always had a weight problem, but it got a lot worse. He got holed up in his apartment all the time, never going out, and his mental health got worse and worse.

He decided that he was in love with the singer Björk, and turned into a stalker. He become one of those obsessed fan types. He made many videos on the Internet in which he was obviously not very stable.

He talked about his love for Björk, how he was in love with her, and also how he wanted to torture and kill her. Why stalkers wish to kill the woman they think they are in love with is not known. He made an acid-spraying bomb and mailed it to Björk, but fortunately it was intercepted before it could do any harm. It later turned out that he was furious at her for dating a Black man.

Before the police could arrest him, he had videotaped his own tragic suicide, blowing his brains out on cam for all to see.

Later it turned out that there were about 20 hours of videotape that he had made documenting his descent into psychopathology, including painting his face green, shaving his head bald, walking around naked showing off his fatass body and his huge moobs, making and testing the acid bomb, and just generally being crazy as fuckall.

The entire 20 hours of tape is apparently available on Internet, possibly for free, possibly for money. It's fascinating to watch if you want to see hours and hours of sheer batshit nuts psychopathology and a man's descent into utter whackery. I'm thinking of getting ahold of the tapes and watching them for the sheer sick fascination of it.

There are sites on the Net about Ricardo Lopez, including testimonials from many people who knew him as a youth. Many expressed deep sadness about his descent, since when they had known him as a boy he had been such a nice person. Something went terribly wrong somewhere with Ricardo Lopez.

Ricardo Lopez is an interesting study in psychopathology. He's clearly not healthy, but I don't have the foggiest idea of what mental disorder to give him, if any. He may not be diagnosable at all, and the best diagnosis may be as it is in many cases: criminal.

In this very strange video, a 21 year old man and his criminal partner were "robbing homes" in Manaus, Brazil. I'm not sure whether that means they were burglarizing homes or committing armed robberies.

Anyway, they ripped off several homes and at some point, a posse of angry residents took off after them and started to attack them. The man in the video was shot 7 times but still managed to survive. To top it off, he received a shovel right in the head. He was hit so hard with the shovel that it stuck in his head! He is rolling around on the ground for about one minute in this video with a shovel stuck in his head! Unbelievable.

But this guy is not exactly an innocent victim like in so many of the other videos.

This video is pretty crazy! A cow was injured in a train crash somewhere, possibly in India. The cow survived being hit by the crashing train, but it got its face ripped off the by the train! Though the video quality is poor, the cow's face has apparently been torn right off. Yet somehow, the cow is still alive and standing in a field. People are freaking out and filming this weird death-defying cow.

Towards the end, the video shifts to the side of the train tracks where people are laying wreaths. Apparently people have been killed by the train crash, probably passengers on the train. The crash probably occurred a short while before, possibly a few days before. This cow has managed to survive for probably at least three days with its face torn off. How?

The Man With No Face

You are going to need to click on the thumb to get a good view of this very weird picture series. The man suffered some sort of a horrible injury to the area around his nose and eyes. In a word, his nose and eyes are gone, and there is a huge hole where they ought to be. An operation is performed, and he is basically given a face transplant whereby he gets a fake face and eyes. Really weird and disturbing stuff.

Black Man With Split Face

I haven't the faintest idea what this is a picture of, but it sure is gross. Apparently this poor guy is still alive, though it seems impossible. This goes to show that you can have a split face injury like the poor Arab boy did in this video and somehow manage to survive it. I hope this guy had reconstructive surgery. I would hate to walk around like this forever.

Photo of James Vance, Failed Shotgun Suicide

This is an incredible photo and video of James Vance, who tried to blow his brains out with a shotgun but unfortunately was unsuccessful and survived. It seems he put the shotgun under his chin and fired upwards. He lived, but his face is seriously mangled in the worst way. If I had to get up every day and look at that in the mirror, I think I would go back and finish the job once and for all.

On December 23, 1985, just in time for the holidays, Vance and friend Ron Belknap, both seriously depressed teenagers, made a suicide pact. Then they went to the local church playground while loaded on various drugs and shot themselves in the face. Belknap luckily died, but Vance unfortunately lived, having given himself the worst Christmas present anyone could ever get.

Vance spent the next three years undergoing reconstructive surgery and treatment drug abuse and suicidal thoughts. He died in 1988 from complications of surgery and his use of methadone to try to cure himself of opiate addiction. Cause of death was methadone overdose, and it is thought that he may have successfully committed suicide.

His parents sued the rock group Judas Priest for wrongful death claiming that their song lyrics made Vance attempt suicide, but they lost the case.

In the video above, Vance sits at the scene of the suicide attempt and tells what happened on that day.

John Graziano Head Wound

This video is pretty disturbing!

It shows John Graziano, a 23 year old former US Marine who was in a terrible car accident in Florida in 2008. Nick Bollea, 17, son of Terrance "Hulk Hogan" Bollea, was drunk and driving his father's car with Graziano as a passenger when he lost control and hit a raised median, spinning the car around and causing it to hit a palm tree. Graziano was terribly injured in the accident, and from the looks of this incredible video, it looks like he lost a lot of the front part of his brain.

Attorneys for Graziano (Who contacted the attorneys?) filed papers last year in Pinellas County Court accusing Terrance Bollea, his estranged wife Linda, their son Nick Bollea and family friend Daniel Jacobs of three counts of negligence, seeking unknown damages, in the horrific injury that Graziano suffered. Apparently the adults allowed Nick Bollea to consume alcohol at their home and then gave him the keys to the 1998 Toyota Supra that crashed later on.

Graziano is expected to need remedial care in nursing homes for the rest of his life. His intellectual powers appear severely diminished, and for all intents and purposes, he's a wide-awake vegetable. It's hard to believe you can stay alive when you are missing that much of your brain.
